Move from 3 bed semi to 2 bed bungalow.

"The 2 main guys, Ollie and Rich introduced themselves to us and then started the move. They were helpful, courteous and polite throughout and nothing was too much trouble. Of particular note was the care they took and also their knowledge, we had a particularly large settee and they knew straight away how to handle this. At the other end, they unpacked and placed everything carefully and checked if we wanted anything moving around. They did have other team of guys helping them and they were just as helpful and professional. All in all they turned a stressful day in to an enjoyable experience."

The move went well. They packed the day before. On moving day we were out by 12.00and started moving in at 2.00 and completed by 4.00.

"Being packed for made the whole experience less stressful. On moving in, this was done smoothly. The only difficulty was all box for the kitchen were put in the kitchen which meant it hard to unload as we couldn't open cupboards. "All very well planned. In second move, items had to be packed and stored over the weekend, followed by early start on the Monday.

I was moved to a much smaller cottage with difficult access and a very difficult staircase.

"They could not have been more helpful or supportive. Polite and considerate and I was very impressed with the way they moved the furniture causing no damage to furniture or walls. We were moving from a four-bedroom detached house to a three-bedroom semi only a short drive away in our home town.

"We had five removal men with two vans. They arrived on time and introduced themselves to us. All of them were extremely friendly and polite and respectful of both our old and our new property.

We had a lot of boxes and obviously furniture and white goods, plus large mirrors, pictures, televisions, computers etc, all of which we were concerned about. The removal men used special bags/covers for all these items which were handled with great care.

The removal of everything from the old house was completed by noon, the scheduled time we were given. I was amazed at the efficiency of getting all our stuff in the two vans!!

At the new house, the removal men followed our instructions as to where furniture/boxes should go and anything else was stacked carefully in one side of our living room.

When everything was out of the vans, the men checked if there was anything they could do to help and happily moved heavy garden statues from the front to the back garden. They made carrying the heaviest stuff look easy!!

Whilst moving was a stressful event for me, I found that the removal men were extremely efficient. Not only were they polite and helpful, but they were also good-humoured and laughing and joking with each other the whole time, which in turn made us feel more relaxed. A huge thanks to all of them.

I would strongly recomend Yeates Removals.

We were moving from Clevedon to just over an hour away, to a similar sized house.

"As for many people, exchange of contracts was delayed several times over, meaning it was difficult to arrange a removal company. After several false starts due to delays by solicitors, and much frustration on our part, Yeates kindly gave us first refusal on our chosen moving date, meaning we could finally move forward.

Wendy was incredibly helpful with this process, exercising endless patience with our numerous calls to check availability. In the end, Yeates juggled various movers around to enable packing and removals to be completed at our chosen time.

Dan turned up to pack on days 1-3, with another two guys helping towards the end. The amount they got done in boiling hot weather was amazing. Dan was so efficient, careful, and we believe has a photographic memory! He knew where everything was!

The guys were friendly, helpful and cheerful in what were not very pleasant moving conditions. We simply could not have asked for a better service. We would not hesitate to recommend Yeates to friends and family

The move was from a 4 bedroom property to a 1 bedroom annexe although some of the furniture had been disposed of before the move. There was a large wardrobe which needed dismantling and reassembling as well as several large containers containing plants which needed moving from the garden.

"The whole experience was quite painless. The staff at the office were extremely helpful and very patient as my exchange and completion kept being delayed. I did my own packing but Yeates supplied all the boxes and wrapping paper. The 2 men who did the removal were very helpful and very quick, the only slight problem was that they damaged one of the fence posts when reversing into the drive at the new property but this was repaired by them on the day after the removal."
