Investigated a faulty shower switch which was found to be beyond repair and replaced.

"Shower was used by a family of visitors a few days later and worked perfectly. Christina was happy to give advice on other queries I had without any fuss. Christina was recommended by a neighbour and proved to be a very good choice. Very polite and friendly, prompt to give advice and investigate the problem and her advice was spot on. She worked in a positive manner and kept me informed at all times. I will definitely use her again for any electric jobs."

Bulb and surrounds burnt out. Could not get it out of socket.

"Christina was brilliant - taking it out, putting in new socket, etc.
Her work was outstanding, as was her attitude and her honesty.
We couldn't be more satisfied with all that and it was so superbly completed with no fuss, etc. She knew exactly what she was doing.
Brilliant.

Power supply problem to outside pond and double Socket in garageaa

"I telephoned Christina and explained the problem with the electrical supply . Unfortunately due to the virus she couldn’t attend for a couple of days although she took me through steps to get the power back on in the garage which highlighted where the problem was. Initially I had quite a few extn leads running from the house supply and after the phone call this was reduced to one . Christina said as long as I could manage with that for a couple of days she would come out if I still required . I was more than happy with that and after having costs explained we arranged a convenient day and time. Christina arrived punctual and checked the supply out and found the problem to be with one of the armoured cables. She said after surveying the site the easiest was to run a new length and disconnect the damaged length. Estimate was given and more than happy to accept the job was carried out two days later. Definitely recommend SparkyChick Ltd and would use them again."

"Excellent professional and friendly service. Answered my questions and turned up when expected. Christina kept me informed of what was required and how much the job would be. No extra's no surprises just got on with it, cleaned up after the job was complete, and only left when I was satisfied.

Quote to wire up a sauna unit and make the relevant changes to the main distribution box.

"Christina was asked to quote to wire up a sauna unit and make the relevant changes to the main distribution board.

She arrived promptly to undertake the quotation, and provided several solutions to the problem at hand. The key differentiator for Christina over the other quotations received, was that she offered an very cost effective and much simpler solution which meant limited changes to the existing infrastructure and reduced material costs.

During the day of fitting Christina was prompt and explained each stage in the process. The work was carried out in a timely manner and to a high standard.

The invoice was broken down into the component parts and was easy to understand and was exactly as she had quoted.

I cannot recommend SparkyChick enough and I will be using their services again in the future."

After having a new flat roof, we discovered that our bathroom light was not working, so we contacted Christina.

"She has been to our house previously to remedy an issue with our hall light.

Christina spent a considerable amount of time trying to work out a solution to get the bathroom light working, as not as straight forward as you would imagine, and not to damage the newly panelled bathroom ceiling. We now have a fully functioning light with no damage to the ceiling due to Christina's solution.

Christina came at the time that was agreed, did the work required to a very high standard, cleared away when she had finished,and sent a very clear and detailed invoice of her work and materials. We would not hesitate to recommend to friends and family."

Christina changed several light fittings at my home. The builder who had undertaken an extension several years ago did not fit these satisfactorily hence the problems! Christina identified what needed to be done and sorted efficiently and safely.

"I arranged for Christina to visit my home and change some light fittings. She arrived promptly and immediately checked what was required. On inspection she pointed out some issues but put me at ease continuing to rectify and complete her work. She explained everything and cleaned the site once she had finished. "I found Sparkychick's advert in the local magazine and being impressed with the content backed by Trustmark, I contacted Christina and booked an appointment to verify the provisional quote given over the telephone. Christina was early, quickly confirmed the extent of the work needed (replace box and optional facing plate - both of which I was happy to agree). The digging of a 250m trench to lay a fibre-optic broadband cable and filling in afterwards.

"This was an unusual job for an electrician but Christina approached if efficiently and enthusiastically. She did an extensive amount of preparative work with the broadband providers beforehand. The job was completed on time and Christina dealt with the unforeseen challenges that came up during the project. This job showed that Christina is happy to work on new challenges and deliver the goods. Her pricing for the job was entirely realistic in comparison to other companies we asked to tender."
