Replaced and relocated consumer unit, with lengthened meter tails. Subsequently wired-in external lights and sockets with an additional MCB. All work included testing, providing certificates and notifying Building Control.

"Carl was prompt for both assessing the work and arriving to carry out the work. A new CU was fitted and the wiring was left much tidier and safer than before. During the tests he discovered and mitigated a loose connection in the house wiring. We are very pleased with the work and finished product, leaving us confident that we now have a safer domestic wiring than before. We will use CJ Electrical for all of our future electrical work."

Total overhaul of the electrics of a medium sized house (ie 7 rooms)

"When I decided completely to refurbish and 'redo' the house, it became clear soon enough that over the years the electrics had turned into a version of the ruins of Troy: layer over layer over layer.

Carl sorted it all out and for the first time in 20 years all the Gremlins have disappeared.

Excellent work, clean, efficient, highly professional.

Provision of electrical services for total house rebuild / renovation project

"I have recently completed a total house rebuild / renovation and Carl rewired the electrical supply in the house from scratch. The rewiring specification was demanding including the provision of eight ethernet ports and TV points around the house, plus ample external electrical supplies for the garage and exterior garden building. Carl worked brilliantly with the builder and other trades.

Carl is a neat, tidy and reliable contractor and uses quality fittings. He kept me in touch throughout and was always accessible on the 'phone to chat through any unforseen issues or changes to the plan. I am very pleased with the end result.

Carl takes his safety responsibilities very seriously and produces excellent certification paperwork for Building Control which is a vital requirement for any rebuild and renovation project.

I thoroughly recommend Carl and would use his services again in the future"

"Carl was reliable, friendly, knowledgeable and just an all round trustworthy good guy!

Very clean and tidy- more so than expected considering he had to chase walls in all 5 rooms! I was kept informed at every step. A lot of thought was put into every aspect of the project down to the positioning of every last bulb and socket.

For the amount of work carried out he was very reasonably priced and I would use him again and recommend to any one looking for an electrician. I am very satisfied with the work carried out and wish his business every success for the future."
