"John Hoole Estate Agents in Brighton went above and beyond our perceived idea of what an estate agent could do.

We were relocating from Ireland and John and Zoe inspired such trust and confidence in helping us to secure our property and also went the extra mile in helping us through a difficult purchase due to Covid and the Stamp Duty changes.

The solicitors John recommended; Dezrez were also a joy to work with and gave a fixed price quotation for the purchase. I would happily recommend them also.

Without John and Zoe's help we would not be happily settled in Brighton and able to help with our grandchildren on a daily basis.

Victorian terraced town house with 3 bedrooms, 8 front steps and unusually large (45'') garden not far from the Centre of Brighton.

"I sold my house just before lock-down through John Hoole. Their being locally-based and independent certainly made a difference. Zoe "weeded out" viewings that were unlikely to lead to a sale and I had only one or two views (ie disruptions!) a week then four or five offers, whereas my neighbour over the same period using another agent had 10-20 viewings a week and no sensible offers at all.
As well as being a source of excellent knowledgable advice, Zoe was always patient and supportive when I was anxious or doubtful and explained things gently in a way that I could understand (better than my solicitor) which made all the difference to my life while trying to sell.
I would highly recommend John Hoole Estate Agents to anyone who asks."

"Having initially marketed my property for sale through John Hoole Estate Agents and received an excellent standard of service throughout, circumstances dictated that the property would be rented out instead of sold. Whilst John Hoole Estate Agents are solely a sales agent, Zoe nevertheless went the extra distance by recommending suitable tenants straight away and setting up a meeting between us. Once necessary checks and references were carried out, the contract was signed within a week. I am immensely grateful for the speed in which this has happened and saved a lot of potential stress. I would highly recommend John Hoole Estate Agents.

Property was a 4/5 bedroom detached Georgian-style house in a quiet road in a pleasant part of the town. It had a large kitchen, integral double garage, good living and dining areas, two bathrooms, three WCs, small garden.

"Dealing with this firm was a pleasure from start to finish. We chose them because they were recommended by a friend, because their only office was the closest to the property and because of a distant personal connection. I was selling the house as an executor of an estate and was not let down.

They were helpful, courteous, communicative and professional at every stage. We agreed a possible sale price with them and settled the particulars. They conducted all the viewings themselves, quite a number, over several weeks (the house was vacant) and kept us informed at every stage. They evidently did some homework on the possible buyers and their ability to exchange/complete within an acceptable time frame and this, combined with my desire to sell reasonably quickly without complication, led to an acceptable negotiation on price and subsequent sale.

Despite being a small agency, they never gave any impression that anything was too much trouble. I might have had slight personal concern at the start that their network was not large enough to advertise the property widely but they assured me this wasn't a problem and my concern did prove completely unfounded.

In my view they punched well above their size and did an excellent job.

"I chose John Hoddle to sell my home after interviewing a short list of local estate agents. I could tell from talking to John he had the knowledge and experience to be best placed to sell my home. Being well established in the area he showed he has the local knowledge needed for obtain a successful sale; which wasn't the case with more regional and national estate agents who promise unrealised valuations to secure a commission.
Zoe, John's assistant, maintained the high standard shown by John and did a splendid job in getting prospective buyers interested and with progressing the sale to a successful completion.

"I can highly recommend John Hoole Estate Agents. Although my sale was a bit more complex and lengthy than I hoped, I was always kept informed and involved. When it required conversation with Landlords, Management Agents and Solicitors, I was supported through this and given all the help I required. As I had moved away from the area, I also required assistance in showing potential buyers, workmen and even surveyors around.
