"Very impressed all around with Dickinson Bowden.

From the moment we asked to see the property all the way to exchange, we were helped quickly, advised and responded to at every query. I never had any problems speaking with Joel and he always returned my emails quickly.

From the word go, Joel and the team tirelessly chased the sale with all the solicitors. That notion of 'going above and beyond' really does apply to Dickinson Bowden. Joel was more or less in constant communication with me and the solicitors involved. He even chased up and kept me in the loop on the sale of my own house, which my own estate agents largely failed to do.

Joel and the team offered a lot of free advice that really helped in the process. It's clear they have a lot of knowledge and you genuinely feel like they're looking after you.

My only regret was not selling my property through them!"

"I would highly recommend this estate agent. From initial marketing through to exchange and final completion their performance has been excellent. They are particularly strong in communication as they are pro-active in letting you know whats going on (you don't have to keep chasing them and if they say they will get back to you - they do!) They will also routinely call you at the end of the week on a Friday to summarise progress and advise of next steps, etc. We also found them open, honest and very trustworthy with prime focus on meeting both the sellers and buyers needs and concerns. I can't really offer any suggestions for improvement as they exceeded our expectations throughout which resulted in a drama free purchase. We were overseas when we completed the purchase of our property and this estate agent, without prompting from us, offered to hold the keys and look after the house until we returned - excellent service indeed!

"The level of service that I received from Dickinson Bowden was among the best that I have ever experienced, in any field. The Sales Manager, Joel Cremen, took particular note of my needs (I was selling my mother's home after her death and I live 400 miles away), and made things work for me. His organisation and attentiveness took the sting out of what might have been a stressful situation. He kept me informed, was clear and up-front with me, and knew when to wait and when to act. I have nothing but praise for Mr Cremen's work.

I visited Dickinson Bowden's offices in Dorchester on two occasions and both times was struck by the warm welcome I received from staff.

"Dickenson & Bowden were very efficient and diligent in putting together the property details and checking with us that these we agreeable with us before marketing them. During the viewing which Dickens & Bowden lead , they kept us fully informed of who and when were viewing the property. Then when we received offers they made sure we were always fully kept in the loop, so we could decide what to accept or not.

When we had accepted an offer, Dickenson & Bowden were there for any queries between the purchased and ourselves and solicitors on either side.

Dickenson & Bowden were a very efficient and effective in marketing and selling our property which was undertaken in a warm friendly way, who I would definitely use again and would totally recommend to anyone else."

4 x bedroom mid terrace late Victorian house with converted attic, situated close to the centre of town and within easy reach of the hospital, schools, bus routes and the railway station.

"The duration of time from when our property was first advertised by Dickinson Bowden to when we moved house was eleven months. The market was influenced partly by uncertainties caused by the Brexit vote during this period and had an adverse effect on the sale.

Dickinson Bowden stayed in touch every week during this period and sometimes daily depending on the activity in the market place at any one time. This was most heartening and made us feel that we were not alone in the process of trying to sell, particularly after our first buyers withdrew their offer.

The sales manager was always positive about us proceeding with the sale at the price agreed as he felt the valuation of the property was an accurate one.

My wife and I are very grateful for the personal touch and the professional way in which we were always treated by Dickinson Bowden, in particular the sales manager. We would recommend their service without hesitation if approached.
