We are a progressive company which is a proud, locally owned and operated with ‘hands on’ partners and a dedicated team of sales experts. Our prominent position in the heart of Caversham has provided the platform for our company to flourish since opening in 2001 and we have now moved over 2000 clients. "Farmer & Dyer were great. They were professional at all times and were extremely good at keeping us updated. The sale was because of a death and they were sensitive to our circumstances without being over-familiar or dramatic - it was a perfect balance between being respectful, appropriate and friendly.

The house sold for more than we ever hoped for and their suggestion of going to closed bids was absolutely the right thing to do. This guidance was invaluable.

We were lucky in that we had no protracted negotiations or discussions in an attempt to reduce the price at any stage and we think this was largely down to Farmer & Dyer managing the sale so well.

All in all, we were delighted with the whole process from start to finish. It was a sad time to let go of our loving childhood home which held such fantastic memories for us, but Farmer & Dyer made it as easy as possible. We felt they genuinely cared about us and they knew we wanted it to go to a family who would appreciate it and love it as much as we did. They achieved this for us which was a perfect result.

"Very helpful and understanding of my situation. Very good communication particularly with Max and George who were polite, helpful and professional.
It was easy to ask them to value the house, easy to arrange to get it on the market and I got lots of feedback from them from the people that viewed the property.
Even during a slight hiccup in preceedings with the buyers they remained positive and helpful. I'd recommend them to anyone wishing to sell."

"Farmer & Dyer are undoubtably one of the best Estate Agents in Caversham. They give sensible advice about marketing property and do not over inflate the price, to get the business and then fail to deliver, but equally the price guide is accurate for the market conditions. They dealt with our sale and purchase professionally.
Also they listened to us with regard the type of property we were looking for and did not send lots of emails with unsuitable property. Although property buying and selling is stressful, they did their best to make it an easier experience."

"Farmer & Dyer were by far the most pleasant estate agents I came across during our property transaction. Always professional, friendly and happy to help and a small team so everyone knows the latest updates - with other agents, we felt we had to explain ourselves over and over again as we got passed to different people each time we called. I also liked the fact they weren't pushy and only got interested parties out for a viewing rather than getting as many as possible just to make the numbers look good.

We particularly recommend George and Max who helped us so much and always had time to help however busy they were.

Struggled to find areas for improvement but perhaps the aftercare once the property was sold, to get the transaction pushed through."
