We are a progressive company which is a proud, locally owned and operated with ‘hands on’ partners and a dedicated team of sales experts. Our prominent position in the heart of Caversham has provided the platform for our company to flourish since opening in 2001 and we have now moved over 2000 clients. "Very friendly helpful service. Any queries however simple or mundane, they were willing to answer.
I bought a property and moved in May and sold my previous property seperately which sold in October later in the year.
I did this so as to not have the worry of finding a dream home but unable to sell and vice versa.
However I did have to pay coucil tax on 2 properties along with 2 house insurances and 2 electric bills for a few months.So food for thought if I did this again.
I used Farmer and Dyer for both transactions and they kept me informed along the way, by phone and by email and I would definitely use them again"

Highly professional and knowledgeable at all times, they were always available and gave guidance and advice whilst also listening to our thoughts and views. They targeted the sale of the property exactly right and secured a significant level of interest immediately at a higher price.Their skills were invaluable in saving the sale process during a short term, sticky period otherwise it would have been the smoothest and most seamless house sale I have ever been involved in.

"Farmer & Dyer were great. They were professional at all times and were extremely good at keeping us updated. The sale was because of a death and they were sensitive to our circumstances without being over-familiar or dramatic - it was a perfect balance between being respectful, appropriate and friendly.

The house sold for more than we ever hoped for and their suggestion of going to closed bids was absolutely the right thing to do. This guidance was invaluable.

We were lucky in that we had no protracted negotiations or discussions in an attempt to reduce the price at any stage and we think this was largely down to Farmer & Dyer managing the sale so well.

All in all, we were delighted with the whole process from start to finish. It was a sad time to let go of our loving childhood home which held such fantastic memories for us, but Farmer & Dyer made it as easy as possible. We felt they genuinely cared about us and they knew we wanted it to go to a family who would appreciate it and love it as much as we did. They achieved this for us which was a perfect result.

It was easy to ask them to value the house, easy to arrange to get it on the market and I got lots of feedback from them from the people that viewed the property.
