"The solicitors, Coodes, who were recommended by Penny's were very poor and you should not in future refer customers to them. They failed to send correspondence claiming it had been sent and ‘lost in the post’. They almost never got back when messages were left and seemed completely at unable to explain what the status of the purchase was when asked. The never did anything proactive to find out what was going on and seemed to lack basic understanding of the process themselves. The day was saved by the excellent staff at Penny’s but I repeat you must not advise your customer to use Coodes they are quite the most incompetent solicitors I have used (I have purchased and sold several houses in the last 5 years)"

There was 1 offer, considered to be an insult by Pennys hence no reply to offers in writing question. All offers were relayed to us by phone and purchase offer confirmed in writing.
