We welcome feedback and will be pleased to send a form to any customer of firms listed on our site.

Simply send us an email to tell us:

  • Your name and address
  • The name of the firm
  • The name of the person you have dealt with at that firm
  • Whether you would like to pay them a compliment or make a complaint

We will send you a form so that you can send us your comments in the usual way.

Complaints
:
We DO want to hear about any complaints, as well as compliments.  We will raise your concerns with the firm, but please help us to handle this in a practical way:

  • Raise your complaint with the firm before telling us.  We recommend that you do this in writing (but keep your original invoices, quotes and so on).  This helps the firm, whose managers may not know the details of your situation, it helps you (in case you forget the details later on) and it helps Trading Standards if you ever need to contact them in future.
  • Be specific about the problems and try to avoid "inflammatory" language.  We  understand that unresolved problems can become very stressful, but you are more likely to receive a prompt and helpful response from the firm if you "stick to the point".
  • Say what you would like the firm to do next - and when.  This often helps to focus the mind on a more positive outcome and may help the firm to respond in a practical way.
  • See our rules about complaints
