On Sunday 22nd January when I came downstairs around 8am I had a burst pipe in the kitchen, and water everywhere. Mr.Bell lives near me and I went and rang his doorbell. I had not used his firm before. Someone came immediately and fixed it.

"He went the extra mile to ensure that everything was safe and functioning and even returned the next day to check. As I was away on holiday that day it was a great relief to me. So thank you very much. I would definitely recommend this plumbing service for anyone looking for a reliable and efficient service done with curtesy and respect.

Install a new gas cooker and service C/H boiler

"I looked for a gas fitter online and D R Bell's website looked professional. I contacted David and he was able to give me a realistic timescale and price.
In fact he was even better and was able to come almost as soon as the cooker was delivered. As part of the job he had to install a new gas valve and a 3 to 4 metre extension to the existing gas pipework through a wall. It was all done very tidily and quickly.
We are very happy with David's helpful attitude and the work he and his colleague did."

Installation of oil fired central heating system and external boiler.

"Our new oil fired central heating system was installed by David in 2019. Our old house is quite hotch-potch in its layout, but David installed the system with the minimum of fuss.

David was excellent with his communication regarding the start date, planning and discussing our requirements, and any changes required as he went along.

As well as being considerate, providing detailed costings, and leaving our house tidy afterwards, David was reassuring about the whole process.

A replacement thermo couple was required for a baxi back boiler fire. The work was carried out very quickly and efficiently. There was no fuss and a reasonable charge made.

"I went on line to find a plumber and got D R. Bell. I was able to message him.late at night to ask for a repair by the next day. The gas burner had gone out and would not stay lit. I phoned the next day and The Plumber conformed when he would be out to sort the heating. He came out on the Saturday and replaced the thermo couple.

"D Bell was very friendly and very informative of the issues we were having with both boilers. He explained all the options and went above and beyond, gaining warranty repairs where possible and looking at not only fixing the problem,but improving the system

"Mr Bell came exactly at the time he said - work expected to take 2 days but finished in 1 1/2 days. Mr Bell is very pleasant is deal with. I wanted the boiler moved as I had to go outside to switch on if needed. I had a gas home care 4 agreement but was badly let down a neighbor said how good Mr Bell was.
