"Having used Innovation over 10 years before,I immediately reached out for them to quote on works for refurbishment of a tired old kitchen- new units and change of garden door location and bathroom suite.
Waited a few months due to timings, but the level of communication provided by Steve and his dad - walking me through the quote process/works from the detailed quote to helping source materials - with costs having risen beyond what i thought it was worth the wait just in terms of the re-assurance that they works would be done using their considerable experience and knowledge of suppliers.
Importantly As the works took place in a Victorian conversion flat , it was really appreciated that Steve and team were very considerate of my neighbours - including when they started work - especially if on site at weekends and updating of any possible obstructions or inconveniences were to occur.
The works was completed as specified and they even managed to incorporate all ahem changes that us clients are naturally inclined to make mid -job (!). Installation of kitchen and bathroom was as expected with Steve going above and beyond my expectations.

"Innovation Interiors was recommended to me by two friends who had successfully used them before. I was impressed with Steven's approach to the work, providing a clear and comprehensive description of what he planned to do, as well as outlying the limitations of his work. Steven's attention to detail in preparing the wall and applying the water protection cream was clear. Steven is punctual, courteous and tidy. Complete strip out of an en-suite bathroom, followed by a re-build.

"We are returning customers of this firm.

The old bathroom was completely gutted, right back to the brickwork and floor joists, and then rebuilt to a modern, contemporary design and style.

This job was challenging, with quite a few surprises discovered during the strip-out, however, all issues were dealt with.

Some very difficult tile work involved, all completed to a very high standard.

A very methodical approach to the project, no rushing, or corners being cut.

The end result is jaw dropping."

Full Kitchen renovation

"We cannot recommend Steve and Innovation Interiors highly enough! Very professional and the kitchen looks fantastic and was finished on time and on budget. Steve is incredibly knowledgeable and ensures his work is done to a high spec and the materials used are of good quality. He project manages his team of decorators, plumbers, electricians etc. So that you don't have to! We received detailed updates each day with progress and the house was always clean and tidy. Steve has done 2 jobs for me. 1) kitchen installation 2) roof refurbishment. Kitchen was done 7 years back. The roof work is ongoing.

"His estimates are very detailed & pretty much on target.
Steve & his workers are friendly, reliable & trustworthy.
They leave the worksite tidy every evening. Steve gave a daily run down on work done, sent photos of the roof work, which I could not personally inspect.
I have used them on two different occasions., & would do so again.
They are knowledgeable, competent & professional.

Demolition, removal, and rebuilding of a life expired over water decking structure to the front of a residence, and the same to an over water pontoon to the rear. Materials used were oak, iroko, and meranti...all treated for longevity. Work conducted to near cabinet maker tolerances. Finished result looks stunning, and will remain so for many decades to come. Timekeeping, and adherence to budget spot on.

"You may find cheaper elsewhere....but this company deliver a top quality service....and they stand by their work.

This is not the first time we have used them, and it won't be the last.

Just make sure you have plenty of tea bags in....."

Demolition and removal of the rotten over-water front decking to a house standing in a lake. Demolition and removal of the rotten over-water pontoon to the rear of the said house. Construction of a new replacement decking to the front of the house, and the construction of a new pontoon to the rear of the said house.

"This company has carried out many projects over the years in the neighbourhood, and are well known for their reliability and attention to detail.

They absolutely will not cut corners, or deliver anything other than a top job.....and from personal experience I know they definitely stand by their work.

A family run business, always a pleasure to deal with.

Two story rear kitchen / diner extension and 1st story bathroom extension, with creation on new downstairs W/C. Work including the following: - Moving manhole into sewer. - Removal of old kitchen and clearing site for building works. - Creation of new foundations. - All steelwork. - Bricklaying and all structural walls, laying reclaiming floorboards, resin roof. - Creation of new laundry room . - Laying of all new plumbing and pipework for new boiler, new radiators, new kitchen, laundry and W/C. - Creation of new downstairs W/C. - Interior kitchen / dinner extension internal installation, including all electrical, plumbing goods, general carpentry such as kitchen units, sink, dish washer, worktops etc. - Moving boiler and new central heating. - Extending upstairs bathroom - Installation of new bathroom, including tiling, lighting, new bath, shower, sink, etc. - Reconfiguring hallway to allow for new layout and joining with old part of the house.

"Overall I could not recommend Steve, Steve and Innovation Interiors enough.

We were living in the house during the works, and were really impressed throughout the entire process with their professionalism, the pride they took in their work and their communication.

Steve and Steve were dedicated to getting the best possible job done from the very beginning, starting with a very detailed quote that outlined a number of costs we needed to consider that sat outside of their responsibility. This enabled us to budget very accurately before hand and approach the project from the beginning with a high level of confidence which lasted until the very end of the project.

As soon as work started, Steve would take the time to explain the work in as much detail as I needed to understand what was going on at each stage of works. This enabled us to make informed decisions, where needed, with Steve always offering a number of solutions, depending on budget or desired outcome.

They were consistently polite, not just to us but to the entire street of neighbours. And everyday they would take the time to tidy the house before we came home from work.

The thing that we will remember most though is their meticulous attention to detail. They take a high level of pride on details - from laying pipework for drainage, details in the brickwork, tiling around windows, matching old with new floorboards - even skirting boards that bend around corners. They would never take shortcuts.

It was a pleasure working with them and I can imagine working with any other team again in the future.

Complete property refurbishment, including a full electrical re-wire, full re-plumbing including a new boiler and heating system, replacing and upgrading two family bathrooms plus creating a new bath/ shower room. A full loft conversion with another smaller shower room and leaded fascia dormer finish with glass balcony. New double glazed timber framed windows, adding new ground floor, open plan, kitchen extension with hall entrance re-configuration to include a separate W.C. combined utility. We replaced old for new in the whole of the interior of the house, stripping back all surfaces to the original Victorian brickwork, insulation & sound boarding, re-plastering.

"Last Year, Steven and his team, completed a large scale full refurbishment of a town house we purchased in West Dulwich. It was an eight month project and involved everything from a full electrical re-wire and re-plumbing with new pressurised boiler/ heating system, to replacing and upgrading two family bathrooms plus creating a new additional master En-suite, walk-in shower/ wet room. All new timber framed box sash, double glazed windows, adding an extensive new ground floor, open plan kitchen (dining area for the main family space) with hall entrance re-configuration to include a separate W.C. combined utility/ laundry area. In essence we replaced old for new in the whole of the interior of the house, stripping back all surfaces to the original Victorian brickwork, new insulated sound boarding and fully re-plastering, just about every inch of the property. We could not have been more delighted with the outcome. The quality of the work was outstanding, as was the professionalism of every member of Steven's team. Not only were they very skilled craftsmen, but were friendly and helpful and always willing to listen to any concerns we had. The fact that a project of this size was completed on time was testament to the good planning and hard work of all the team. We would recommend Innovation Interiors without reservation."

Innovation Interiors did two jobs for me: a major one, involving the removal of a structural wall and fitting a new kitchen and flooring in February 2012, and a smaller job recently fitting a dishwasher and a hosepipe tap.

"Innovation Interiors were terrific to work with both times they did work on my flat, working to schedule and within the agreed budget, being prompt, polite, communicative, dealing with unforeseen problems within the agreed estimtate and even doing a few further odd jobs that weren't in the original estimate for free. Recovery from work done by poor builder. Dining room floor completely up and renewed including several new joists. Hearth re built and tiled. Kitchen taken out and put back properly aligned.

"Innovations rescued me from a builder who left my flat in terrible state. Other builders declined the work because they did not want to assist in such circumstances. Innovations had to pull up my entire dining room floor to renew joists and put right poor work by other. My property is from 1910 & irregular in levels but somehow Innovations re built floor and hearth so levels appear regular. My electrics also left in poor shape for kitchen & dining room & rescued by Innovations. My kitchen was so misaligned by previous builder so Innovations pulled it all out and put it back in properly."

"Great job done. They worked on lots of awkward things that needed upgrading, fixing, installing, moving and improving and they did all of it with care and attention. Single storey rear extension with internal remodelling involving removing structural internal walls to turn our 2 bed flat into a 3 bedroom flat. New kitchen and bathroom installed plus a new small WC and utility room.

"Project not completed yet (single storey rear extension and internal remodelling of our flat) but so far we have been very happy we chose Innovation Interiors. There have been increases in price for various unforeseen reasons but Steven has tried to keep costs down where possible or tried to absorb some of the price increases.

Steven's engineering background has served us well when there was an issue with the engineers structural drawings and he was able to deal with it without there being a long delay. They have been very considerate towards our neighbours too. When we had issues with a difficult neighbour they remained professional and courteous.

We stayed living at the property for the first 2 months before our new baby arrived and his team were always very kind towards me when I was in the house during late pregnancy, checking I was ok and making me the occasional cup of tea!

Whilst the project is still a work-in-progress we have been very impressed with the quality of the workmanship so far. It is clear they care about what they do and pay attention to detail. They may not be the cheapest firm around but we needed to feel confident that whatever firm we chose could do the job safely and to an excellent standard."

Exploration and resolve kitchen plumbing issues.

"After a nightmare calling out emergency plumbers, I called Steven as he had previously renovated my house including my kitchen (very well by the way). The issue was a mystery blockage that was causing the kitchen sink and dishwasher to block up. Steven came and looked, went and spoke with his team from the renovation and came back just two days later with the team to get it resolved in just a few hours. It needed lateral thinking to drop the pipework through the floor and into the garage to create a steeper drop into the main stack. Clean, quick thinking, well executed and well appreciated."
