The customer claims that they have not heard from us since the move, but our surveyor visited on several occasions to ensure all empty packaging was removed and our written response to their concerns is on file, dated just 8 days after the move, including the following extracts:
On completion of the loading, you asked our staff to help you locate the estate agents and our vehicle guided you to their office to collect the keys. We had an additional member of staff waiting at the new address to help with the unloading. When the unloading was complete, our staff asked you to check that vehicle was empty and you signed the sheet accordingly.
The following day you telephoned to say that you were missing a drawer handle and some alcohol. We returned your call to confirm that the handle had been loose and was therefore placed inside the drawer and that the alcohol had been packed from a cupboard in the dining room and placed in your new home.
