Full packing service chosen. Moved over 3 days (2 days packing and boxing plus the bulk of the move on the 3rd day

"The whole experience from valuations and quotations, office staff, and the packing handling and delivery could not be faulted. The staff were, helpful, polite, knowledgeable and professional. We are a couple in our 70s and the prospect of moving after 25 years in one place was daunting. Jamie Briggs� staff made it as smooth as possible - they limited the stress factor; very pleased with the service."

The move involved a 5000 sq ft house containing antique furniture and a small library plus several outbuildings including a workshop. Jamie Briggs supplied packers for the first day then a team to move with a large lorry and a smaller one over the next two days. The move was over a distance of 75 miles.

"We were absolutely delighted with the move we made with the support of Jamie Briggs Removals. From the first contact with Julian Briggs who seemed un-phased by potential difficulties to a pre-visit from Matt who would head up the team. It was at this point that we stopped worrying about the move.
On the first morning, 5 cheerful chaps presented themselves early to pack at a speed and efficiency which left us breathless. The team for the actual move changed one person but who all remained incredibly polite, conscientious, helpful, fast and oh such hard workers. We much appreciated their attention to detail, from their awareness of their surroundings, their real understanding of fragile objects, and even labelling packaged knives with arrows showing which way the blades were pointing. The wrapping was outstanding and Matt deserves a medal for the creative way he wrapped difficult objects and also Jordan for packing delicate china without a single breakage. The team's strength in carrying heavy boxes was of olympic proportions!
So yes we would, and have done, highly recommend this company without hesitation and without hesitation certainly use them again."

Removal of quite a substantial amount of furniture (bed/wardrobes/cabinets/tv/piano etc) from Warwickshire to Devon

"A great removal experience from start to finish at what could be quite a stressful time. I particularly asked Jamie Briggs Removals to quote as they were recommended by my local music shop as their preferred removers for pianos (I have a babygrand). The price was very reasonable.

The service was excellent overall. My furniture was packaged substantially and neatly. They arrived promptly at both properties and nothing was too much trouble for them. I have an enormous antique wardrobe which I couldn't dismantle on my own and they said it was no trouble at all for them to dismantle and pack. Also, a bed needed taking apart that I didn't have the tools for.
They were really efficient at packing and unpacking at both locations and it was a real pleasure dealing with them. The admin team were also on hand for queries and very helpful.

Moving most of the furniture and household items out in July, storage and then return in late December.

"It was mostly good apart from a couple of issues.

There was a muddle up (definitely not us who were confused) over the delivery of the packing boxes. We rushed home at the agreed time to find a phone message making an arrangement for the following day.

When we needed to pay for the return of the goods, we were sent a link to a portal for the payment. However, it simply didn't work despite getting the link re-sent.

In conclusion, there were minor issues with the back-office but the people who actually did the move were excellent.

Moving from a 4 bed house with good access to a 3 - storey town house in a new development.

"I cannot recommend Jamie Briggs enough. From the initial meeting to prepare a quote, it was clear that they were an experienced team. I received a slightly more competitive quote from a firm not local to the area and when I shared this with them, they adjusted to the quote enough for us to choose them.

The sales team were polite on the phone and discussed the whole cancellation process and the booking and paying process is online and could not be easier. We received ample packaging materials dropped off in good time by a super friendly chap.

On the day, the team could not have been more helpful and courteous. Our own stress levels were reduced considerably by the manner of all the team and I can honestly say it was a pleasurable and fun experience."

Simple domestic house removal

"It was a basic domestic house removal from Banbury to Witney, a journey of about 20 miles.
The booking in process was pretty good with an efficient survey and when I made a few changes to the quotation and booking dates these were handled promptly.
The actual removal itself was superb and both of the guys who actually did the move were brilliant; nothing was too much trouble.

"I have to say, we have been thrilled with all the help Jamie Briggs Removals have given us across 6 homes, all within one year. All the team(s) have been exceptional re timing, efficiency, cheerfulness, helpfulness and a total delight to have around. We miss them every time they leave! Mike was magnificent at heading up the teams, and nothing was ever too much trouble. The last move was to move my elderly mother and Luke was a superstar with her and with helping me get everything sorted. I downsized from a two bed bungalow to a one bedroom retirement flat.

"From the first phone call of enquiry to the end of the moving day everything and everyone at Jamie Briggs was great. All staff extremely nice and very knowledgeable about the job. On the day I had two of the nicest lads you could wish to meet they packed my belongings up with great care and made me feel completely at ease. On arrival at the the flat they unloaded the van and put all my furniture where I asked them to and it was so quick and easy, we did have a problem getting one armchair in but they did it! When everything was in place they made sure I was happy before they left.

"I phoned using the number from their website as I had been advised by a friend that they were very good
A member of the team came out to quote the work that day and subsequently arranged for this to be carried out promptly after I agreed the quotation.
The removals team arrived on time and introduced themselves. They quickly prepped the area with a covering to protect our flooring and started work. During the removal they explained about an item they had found to be damaged which we were aware of but had forgotten about I appreciated they explained this though
On delivery of the items to our new property they stacked everything neatly where requested . Very polite and efficient teamwork from these two

"We found Jamie Briggs to be very easy to deal with, communication when arranging the quote was swift and positive, a date booked in with not much lead time and then changed by us days before we no issues (much appreciated)).

On the day the team were all prompt super polite and friendly and easy to work with! All a Credit to the company.

A long and stressful move that nearly didn�t happen over the space of a year

"From the minute they visited for the quote to the time they left us at the new property was seamless. Everything explained and confirmed both verbally and in writing. Packing equipment delivered in preparation for us to start packing in plenty of time. The team arrived on time on the morning of the move and very quickly and efficiently loaded up ready to get us on our way. Once at the new property unloading was done just as efficiently and all boxes were left in appropriate positions to allow us to unpack easily. All in all an excellent company to deal with, polite and helpful staff and we would certainly use them again and recommend them to others."

Our Move was handled by Jamie briggs removals and storage, It was a rather full 3 bed terrace house in Banbury, with the contents and garden furniture being packed, and going into storage, and latter being delivered to a 3 bed semi in the west midlands. The team from Jamie briggs removals and storage made it look easy. which was more than the company that delivered our sofas originally did.

"Our Move was handled by Jamie briggs removals and storage, we had a member of the team call and give my wife and I a very competitive quote for the works.
The team That arrived firstly were smart in appearance and quickly got on with the task ahead in a very methodical way, a little latter in the day a second team arrived to help with the really heavy items again smart in appearance and again worked in a methodical way.
all of the staff were super polite and respectful of our furniture and alike.
The handy man service that was offered was again first class.
In all the team from Jamie Briggs removals and Storage made a very stressful day a lot less so.
Delivering our furniture to our new home we found the same super service and care was taken by Jamie's team.
I would have no hesitation in recommending Jamie Briggs removal and storage to any of my friends.

We moved out of our old house but couldn''t move in to our new place for a month so needed to have our furniture stored during that time. Our move included a number of fragile garden ornaments, statues etc, some very heavy, and a number of delicate items. During the move one of the movers brought me a stash of bank notes that I had totally forgotten about!

"My initial enquiry was dealt with in a helpful, friendly and informative way, care was taken to provide an accurate quote and to explain the moving process. On the day the team were punctual, organised, hardworking, knowledgeable, extremely polite, respectful and helpful to all of us. They were also patient with us whilst we sorted our last minute items and responsive to any concerns. Our items were unpacked efficiently and with care that everything was in the right room. Every item was moved without damage. This move was a significant transition for me and my 3 young adult children as part of a divorce settlement.
