We are saddened to read this review, but cannot actually define what the problem was. The customer is always informed the arrival time will be approximately 9am–traffic allowing, and if we are going to be any later the customer will be notified. Our crews are trained to appreciate our customers’ belongings and treat everything with respect. The removal was carried out with the least amount of fuss and worry as we do appreciate that this is a very stressful time for our customers, we do all in our power to ease this situation. The crew never ‘drag out the day’ as our removals are meticulously planned around the allocation of days to pack and load and to arrive at the delivery address, taking into account when the customer will obtain keys.
Obviously our quote was competitive. As a professional removal company our charge is based on the services required. The customer accepted our quotation as this was comparable with other companies. Our Terms and Conditions, Summary of Insurance and Code of Practice were attached to the original quotation, and particular attention to clauses regarding insurance liability and time limit for claims were highlighted.
Customers are informed that boxes will be collected at our convenience and when we have a vehicle in the area. Due to the distance of the removal we realised we would not be in the area for some time, and suggested to the customer that to save taking up space in her new home she should either contact a local removal company to collect them or put them out for recycling.
