We moved from a rented semi to our permanent home. This move included coordinating the removal of the contents of the rented property plus the contents of two storage units to the same address over a couple of days.

Move contents of a 3 bedroom semi-detached house in Guildford to a similar sized house in Bath

"The removal team were punctual, speedy and very hard working, and managed to move large,heavy items of furniture without damaging them or the paintwork.

All aspects of the move from start to finish were excellent with the exception of the packing service which was somewhat disappointing. Nothing appears to have been broken or lost, however some boxes were inadequately or inaccurately labelled. For example, a box marked clothing contained electrical equipment and legal documents. Another marked china and glass actually contained LP vinyl records and Hi-Fi components. This inaccurate labelling of boxes made unpacking in our new home more difficult and frustrating than it need have been. Despite this problem we were satisfied with the overall experience."

"My move was on the 1st December and the guys arrived just before 8am and exactly on time. They emptied my house in an hour and a half which was very impressive! They were extremely careful with my possessions and very considerate to me throughout. They were brilliant.

On arrival at my new house the people were doing a self move and were not in a position to clear the property in time for me to move in so my chaps pitched in and helped so that I could get in my new property as quickly as possible.
I was so delighted with my removers that I rang Cooks that afternoon to say so. They went above and beyond to help me and I could not be more dleighted with the service. I would thoroughly recommend them. Thank you SO much"

Removal of contents of a 4 bedroom house plus extensive loft and garage contents to a 4 bedroom house at a distance of 150 miles (Haslemere to Ludlow). Few difficult items of furniture but nothing out of the ordinary. We had them pack for us.

"Everything was very smooth. The assessment, in particular, was very professional. The response from the office was always prompt and well handled. The removal men themselves were very considerate and worked hard. The packing of goods was all carefully done. They were very obliging when dealing with the inevitable hold up at move-in time and worked well with us placing the boxes and furniture.
In all, a relatively stress-free experience when so many things can go wrong."

3-day move, 1st day packing and loading up, 2nd. travel and unloading at destination, 3rd day unloading any excess not completed on 2nd. day.

"I opted to do my own packing, but not the easiest option. Introductory explanation could have been better in terms of determining weight distribution in larger and smaller boxes, and to what extent larger boxes had to be solidly packed. A video would have been helpful.
Garden items to be packed misunderstood by removal men, although these were clearly included in estimate.
Unloading went well and all items were inside the destination property by the close of the 2nd. day.
I would have appreciated at least a visit from the two removal men on the 3rd. morning, particularly since they spent overnight in the neighbourhood. I would have asked for some help to move a few items between rooms, which would not have taken more than an hour. The 3rd. day was part of my estimate and I paid for it."

There were 2 pick up points for my move and Cooks managed everything with the minimum of fuss and very expertly. There were several very heavy boxes containing paperwork which they moved very well. They also offered any help I needed which made the move stress free for me.

"I was astounded at the professional way I was moved. The team all worked together and in a happy caring way and I felt very secure in their hands. I was by myself on the day and they took everything in their stride including moving my piano very expertly.
