Roof replacement

"Overall very positive. The job was evaluated with me, clearly set out and rationales provided. There was a delay to starting, but in the end this was unimportant.

I did have a slight issue with the scaffolders who were subcontracted. There were issues regarding initial stability of the structure, (OK it is a 4 storey property,) its position, and the timing at which they elected to rectify this second issue (8.30 on a Sunday morning), for a job which lasted 1 hr. My neighbours had every right to be fed up.

The roofwork, the most important element of this review looks excellent. neat, solid, and well integrated with surrounding gables/chimney stacks. I'm very happy with this. Clean up was good, and a helpful dialogue was maintained during the duration of the job such that we knew exactly what was going to happen when.

We had a flat roof stripped and re-laid with a more up-to-date material and new guttering put in place.

"Greenhill Roofing Contractors have recently re-covered my flat roof and put up some new guttering. I cannot speak too highly of this company. Right from our initial meeting to discuss the work to be done, they came across as a very professional outfit. I would certainly have no hesitation recommending them to anyone and I will certainly be employing them again in the future. The end result looks great and has been done very much in keeping with the cottage we live in. A great firm who took the time and trouble to discuss solutions with us and then implemented them with impeccable workmanship."

Full re-roof including large fron & rear dormers

"We collected a lot of quotations before choosing Greenhill Roofing. They were the nearest NFRC Competent Roofers to our address. Very similar pricing to more local contractors but chose for NFRC & Trustmark endorsements. We made a good choice. "Of the three contractors I asked to look at the the job Jamie from Greenhill inspired confidence from the very start. All the questions I had in mind were answered by his detailed explanation of how the job would be done. The written quote was detailed in full & when the job was done everything in the quote was done well. "We had some kitchen windows changed for Velux ones. Greenhill Roofing provided an excellent service, they worked in a professional manner and informed us of what works were being doing as and when they were doing it. "Contacted Greenhill Roofing to make some minor repairs to my roof. They were the only roofing company in the area to call me back and I found them to be very helpful. They came out and did the work whilst I was out and was very pleased with the result. They made a very neat, tidy repair and you would never know they had been; very clean and tidy.
