There were some complicated circumstances associated with this purchase and Mitchell and partners were very pro active and helpful in getting the sale completed. They were genuinely helpful, never tried to sell us any extra products and were always available at the end of the phone even though they were employed by the sellers and not us. I engaged Wally to sell my own property back in 2004, and from the very positive experience I had then, I wanted to use him again. Due to issues with the property and the land it''s on, this sale was not straightforward at all. The photography of the property was superb and the details were faultless. From the initial open-house marketing right through to completion, Wally gave constructive suggestions to the problems that arose, drawing on his wealth of knowledge and experience, and guided me to seek legal advice when he felt that it was appropriate to do so. Wally was instrumental in keeping others in the chain informed of progress or seeking information from them - nothing was too much trouble for him. He has a natural charm and enthusiasm, which was very welcome during some of the trickier moments, but he was never pushy and has complete integrity. After asking 3 estate agents to value our fathers home, we chose Wally Walsh of Mitchell and Partners. We knew he would work hard to sell our home, had excellent knowledge and many years of experience selling houses in this area. What we weren''t expecting was how quickly he had found us the perfect buyers and that he had also achieved a price much more ambitious than the other estate agents. We were delighted. His experience really paid off for us. Wally kept us informed all the way through the process and also guided us through a tricky patch regarding surveys - which was all concluded quite quickly and satisfactorily in the end. Mitchell and Partners in Ash Vale were not my agents but the agents for my sellers. That makes it all the more amazing that they not only went the extra mile professionally, but helped me in lots of practical ways to ensure the move went smoothly. They gave me contacts for a surveyor and electrician before the purchase, and afterwards helped me find a handyman, plumber etc when they had nothing to gain from helping me. I would highly recommend Mitchell and Partners as both a buying and selling agent. Wally was professional and very knowledgeable about the area. He was very diligent when we had an offer on our house, and made sure that the chain was secure before advising us to accept the offer. This meant that our first offer went through to completion. He was very diligent with finding out the status of our sale, and regularly kept me up to date on the progress. Everyone knows that selling and buying a house is very stressful, but Wally managed to keep our stress levels low at all times. He kept us fully informed throughout the process and was always at the end of the phone for all our queries. Wally worked very hard contacting all those in the chain to agree our final completion date, despite one rather argumentative person in the chain ( not me I hasten to add!) As the estate agency was local to our property, this meant that Wally is fully conversant with the area and so able to give vendors sound information regarding the area. We bought our new house through Wally at Mitchell and Partners in Ash Vale. Wally was absolutely amazing and a breath of fresh air in the stressful time of moving house. He always kept us up to date with anything happening in our chain and was always the first to know of any news before our estate agents and our solicitor! We could fully trust anything Wally said to us. Frankly, there is not enough people like Wally in the Estate agent world, and there were more then it would be so much easier to move home. Once we had completed the purchase we wished that we could have paid Wally for his services, rather than pay our own estate agents for the work that he did to ensure a smooth as possible exchange and completion, however our estate agents didn''t see it that way! Mitchells helped my mum sell her bungalow. The process was explained to us fully, terms of business agreed and comparative sale prices of similar properties in the area provided and guidance given as to a sensible selling price. There was no ‘hard sell’ and our agent was sensitive to the fact that my mum was selling her home of more than 50 years. The office was always available, service polite and helpful and calls always returned. The process was quite lengthy, due to delays on the part of the solicitors for the property my mum has purchased and to an issue on the part of my mum’s buyer. However, Mitchells kept us up to date with all developments along the way and our agent was very proactive in terms of contacting the other agents and solicitors in the chain.
