However, the removal team (2 at each end) were fantastic!"            Business Reply: This was a removal from Nice in France to Monmouthshire, carried out on a return journey basis in conjunction with other traffic. This meant that the customer only paid a one way charge and had to fit in around other moves. As requested, we collected from Nice on a Thursday but due to French driving restrictions on the Saturday and Sunday, could not arrive back in the UK until the following Wednesday, when the consignment was duly delivered. Door-to-door in 6 days.

We were forced to phone the firm’s office & were told the 4th crew member had gone sick & no-one else was available no solution was offered however within an hour of our call an additional 2 men arrived & assisted for about 2 hours. The packing was completed eventually by 5:15 – 5:30pm. This would not have happened had we not communicated."

Making it somewhat a rush loading with the threat from the office I would have to pay a penalty if they missed the Ferry? Planning these hiccups happen."

Result packing was done in very sloppy manor I reckon I was given or they tried, to give me no man treatment, certainty by the junior movers, in August 2007."            Business Reply: We were somewhat surprised to receive these marks from our customer. In 2007 the customer requested a quote to move from Haslemere to Biarritz, France. A full packing service was requested and quoted for, hence we had not factored in providing cartons for her own use prior to the removal. Also, this customer lived 70 miles from our depot in Salisbury. The goods remained in store for 3 years and we were then requested to deliver to London - not France. A revised figure for redelivery from store of £800.00 + VAT was given and accepted. The delivery went well and to date we have not received any notification of any damage or claims.
