Accommodating small job was seemingly charged at premium plus rate, i.e. the company took advantage financially of a difficult position re house sale completion. 2. Small storage volume also seemed to be excessively high compared with others, storage costs (done afterwards). 3. Delivery charge to new premises seemed excessive in respect of other furniture removal costs (stored in with another company)."            Business Reply: We consider this response to be wholly unjustified. The removal from storage price was not inflated and was quoted at the time of going into storage, which was accepted by the customer in 2008. Furthermore, we held the price for 18 months and waived our rights to the 2009 price increase on redelivery. We also accommodated this customer at very short notice during a busy period and did not charge waiting time or a cancellation fee when we incurred a wasted journey because the customer was not available at the agreed time. We carried out the delivery later in the afternoon at no extra charge. The customer has requested anonymity, so we are unfortunately unable to put these points to him.

Removal of some furniture from the new house, removal of furniture from the rented property, something still in storage, whilst building work was carried out at the new property. Finally, delivery of the storage items. At all times, we were informed of the costs which were very fair and the service given excellent."
