Turner Roof Windows fitted 2 new electric Velux windows in our bedroom along with black out powered blinds to fit.

"We decided on Velux as they gave the best acoustic glass (we live next to a busy A Road). We opted for solar powered versions of both windows and blinds as these came with the benefits of having a rain sensor to auto close with any rain falling, and being high up, easy to open and close the blinds. Being solar this also meant there was no wiring involved. Keith fitted these over 2 days and left them in full working order, a demonstration, and was clean, tidy, and very efficient in clearing everything as he went. We are very pleased with the windows and blinds and the excellent service provided. We would thoroughly recommend the company to anyone considering new or replacement roof windows."

"Everything was agreed in writing and the work was carried out as agreed.

I thought the price I paid was very competitive compared to others.

Where others tried to pretend that it would take a few days and scaffolding. Keith told me that it could all be done within a day, from the inside. Watching him do it as he said he would was a marvel. I'm a pretty competent diy'er but this is one job I'm glad I left to a professional

The only downside was that I had to wait two months for the window to be installed but it was installed on the date agreed.

Ultimately it was worth the wait. You just have to understand that good trades people are busy.

Overall I am very pleased with the service that Turner roof windows gave."

The work was completed to schedule and even though there were a few plaster chips left over from the clean-up and a couple of minor scuffs on the wall below the new window, I was happy with the work and felt it was good value."

Replacement of an old rooflight with a Velux window

"The existing rooflight was an obsolete German make, almost forty years old. It was no longer draughtproof and only just weatherproof.
Having has Velux windows intalled in previous properties, it was an easy choice to replace with Velux, but we needed advice on the choice of size because the old window did not exactly match any of the Velux sizes.
Initially we provided a photograph with our own measurements, to get an initial quote. This we accepted, which got a date into the diary for the work to be done, and subsequently we arranged for the installer to come and assess the work when he was in the area on another job, to ensure that the sizing was correct.
Given all of the pre-planning, we were delighted that fitting went as arranged, with no hitches, and the end result is a great improvement against the elements and much easier on the eye.
