Rebuilding of the chimney from the inside, up through the roof. The construction of a new chimney stack and fire place. In a very old building.

General maintenance and building work in and around a Church Building and Church Hall which has included: Creating a Unisex toilet and Disabled toilet in both buildings. Installation of a kitchen. Work on Church Tower.Structural alteration to large double doorway and building multiple storage area. Office refurbishment. Repairs to outside valley gutters and replacement of lead work.

"I have been in charge for many years for organising the maintenance and alterations for a Church and Church Hall. I have found David Walkingshaw to be competitive with other builders and I find he provides a good well finished job. His work is tidy which is important in buildings being used by the public. He provides a full service which includes plumbing, electrics, joinery etc. He provides a full breakdown in his estimate and this has always remained the agreed price. Various roofing jobs rubberised and corrugated including asbestos removal. Various building and repair jobs including chimney stack removal and re-fitting of gutters.Loft conversion and roof insulation. Re-racking of cellar shelving following floods of 2009. Other damp-proofing and timber spraying work to cellar of 4D Disabled toilet installation in 4D also. Fitting of wood-burning stove including new hearth,building up fireplace, chimney lining and new cowls etc.Numerous other unplanned,urgent callout jobs over many years.At the start of November 2020 David will be installing a toilet and basin in our downstairs utility room.All building regs work will be completed by David. Very helpful. The outside of our house will be painted at the same time.

"Mr Walkingshaw, has done an amazing job (floor) at my place.
It's pretty obvious that he's well experienced.
Price ways, I cant complaint.
After she finished, everything (all areas) were cleaned by himself
Just ready for the furniture to go back where it was before.
I will scored his service 10 out of 10.
