Igor and his Combit team completed a big and complicated flat renovation for us. We basically completely redid our whole flat, that is change all flooring throughout (level, sound insulate, and new flooring), change all ceilings throughout (level, sounds insulate, and new lights), new kitchen, two new bathrooms, renovate/improve our balcony, etc. Moreover, we''ve done all this while abroad keeping in touch with Igor on a nearly daily basis through a combination of calls, videos, and messages - which he was sending us about our project.

"We're extremely happy with the end result (see pictures). We obviously encountered quite a few unexpected problems along the way and Igor & his team were really good at resolving them. The end result is very high quality, even better than we had hoped! See for examples how nice the flooring looks or how nice the tiles were installed in the bathrooms. My neighbors also commended the team for being very tidy & quiet in the common areas."

Building an extension, fitting out a shower/utility room, fitting new kitchen

"Igor and his team removed our dilapidated lean-to conservatory and built a beautiful new extension in its place. In addition, they turned what was our old kitchen into a shower and utility room, building sleek cupboards to house our paraphernalia so that the new open plan kitchen and living area remain clear and uncluttered. From the outset, Igor and Ivan were determined to make the utility room an object lesson in space saving storage and purpose built carpentry. Rezo and David worked tirelessly on the build, always punctual and professional. The team also came up with the possibility of a wrap around patio, where there had been old paving slabs and broken concrete. All of which attests to Combit’s special quality - the team really care about their work and are only satisfied with the best possible results, offering creative ideas and clever solutions along the way. Igor was always on hand to support and advise, and made sure that we were kept abreast of costs so that there were, in his words, ‘no nasty surprises’. This was very reassuring. So thank you all at Combit for your workmanship, care, creativity and enthusiasm."

I was let down by my previous builders and called Combit Construction to help me to finish my project – converting 4 bedroom house into HMO.

"Igor provided me with a very detailed quotation and reasonable cost.
I felt that I could trust Igor and his team as the project took off quickly and progressed very well.

It was a pleasure to work with Igor, as he gave us lots of helpful advise and took care of entire project.
Our communication was really good. I received video and photo reports regularly.

I came to visit the project only once – at the completion. I was really happy about all building stages and was very delighted to see the completed project with all attentions to the details.

"Igor and his team at Combit Construction always do a professional job, of a high standard and they pay great attention to detail. Igor offers suggestions for additional improvements along the way and advises about the most economical and practical way of doing things. His workers are pleasant mannered and considerate, and they leave everything clean and tidy when they finish working.

All the works have been carried out timely, precisely and at high standard. The guys were always professional on the job and were always leaving everything very clean and tidy at the end of the day. Igor and his team removed our old drivewway and patio and laid new ones as well as totally redecorated our house inside and outside. In addition they widened the front door space and installed a new front door.They also replaced our fences and built a breakfast bar for us. They replaced our lighting to more modern fittings.

"A detialed quote was given to us before the work began with a payment schedule. The quality of the work was of a very high standard. Igor and his team were good at solving any probelms that they unexpectedly encountered ( in our case they discovered that we had 2 driveways laid one on tiop of the other) and expalined in detail how to solve the problems and gave us all the costs to solve the problems,before carrying out any additoinal work. They did not cut corners and Igor always checked first before carrying anything not on the original job brief. The workers were, prompt, considerate,honest polite and friendly and always tidy up at the end of each day. I would highly recommend them."

Garage conversion & Extension

"We needed to convert our garage into a room and extend behind, creating a self-contained extension with kitchen and bathroom facilities.
We acquired a few quotes and Igor (Combit Constructions) was not the cheapest but his price was competitive and his attention to detail on the quote was just what we liked.
Once instructed, the building work started on time and all went smoothly, everything being constantly supervised by Igor. Any changes/additions were discussed and agreed. Any queries were answered immediately and very often Igor came up with ideas and suggestions that were really good. The only extras on our final invoice was what we had added on ourselves – Igor always keeping us aware of the additional cost.
Igor had advised that after a period of time to allow the building work to settle, he would return and make good any cracks etc. He did return and review and sent his worker to do any snagging. All was done in a most professional manner and left us feeling that Igor and his workers really do care.

We highly recommend this building firm.

Complete conversion, remodelling and renovation of 4 bed town house bought from auction into 2 apartments. Living space was made open plan with structure supporting beams. New plumbing and electrics. New kitchen and bathrooms. New ceilings, flooring and plastering of all walls. Spot lights and decoration throughout. Conservatory roof installed. Garden cleared and tidied.

"Igor and his team were fantastic from start to finish. From when we first met, Igor was professional, knowledgable and courteous and instantly put us at ease. We did our homework and had 4 quotes from other contractors, but Igor's detailed and through approach clearly set him apart. He listed every detail of work and costing into a schedule which he kept updated. We also felt that we got more than just a builder. Igor's ideas and expertise on how to get the best outcome from a property was priceless, from which wall to move to the position of lights. This was something we thought we would need an interior designer for, but with Igor it was part of his expert service.

Throughout the build, Igor kept us informed on the progress as we lived 20 miles away and had busy lives so could only visit the site once a week or fortnight. On the occasion where something was unexpected (e.g. rotten floor boards in the bathroom under the tiles), Igor would always have a proposed solution and possible options with costing which we would discuss with him and decide before proceeding further. So there were no hidden surprises.

The end result was that we got a beautifully converted town house which we were able to easily rent out as 2 bed apartments to lovely tenants. Thank you Igor and your team so much. We definitely will be using you guys for future projects and have already recommend one of our friends to you!"

Their sincere interest in wanting to help us achieve our goals was readily apparent throughout the process.Their professionalism shows in Igor’s management & attention to detail, the quality of completed work and their customer service.

The team of builders worked well together and complimented each other throughout the project. They were able to communicate and share resources well to ensure we were not incurring additional costs which saved us a lot.
