Britannia Beckwith removals of Sussex is the longest established removals company in East Sussex. We are a family owned and run removals and storage company operating from a head office and warehouse in Newhaven, East Sussex, also with offices in Brighton and Seaford.

We are long and established members of the Britannia group and one of over 40 companies that makes up Britannia movers international. We are also members of the British Association of Removers (BAR). We are accredited by QSS for reaching the European Quality Standard for removals BSEN 12522. Which allows us to fly the well known Kitemark symbol.

Our removals service is comprehensive, friendly and efficient and we pride ourselves on providing the best possible service for our customers.

2 days of packing/moving I was told I would keep the boxes and would given any restrictions as to marking/naming. The moving personnel were very efficient and helpful

"I was upset by company policy: ie the inability to write on the side of the boxed. During removal they told me they could not do so due to re-use problems. A mega problem was for me with dozens of boxes stacked up, how can I possibly know what any of the contents are and they are very heavy.
I am very upset over this I will also never understand why valuables are wrapped only in paper. No bubble wrap on site at all "

Moved in one day old house- wide drive into narrow entrance, removers were able to regociate drive- new house below the level of the derive, removers had to carry everything down six steps to get to house.

"A thoroughly positive experience. Removal team were very polite and helpful all day, a very cheerful, professional crew, when we arrived at new house they were already to unload. They worked very hard and hardly stopped all day.
There was no damage to property or items, the crew are very keen to position furniture exactly where we wanted it.
A really good day."
