One story pitched roof extension to rear of house, steel frame construction with cedar shingles, underfloor heating fitted

"Sheta Builders were recommended to us by some friends and we couldn't have been happier with them.

- Prior to the build, they worked with us on our architectural plans and gave us suggestions as to where to cut costs

- As the two owners of the business are both structural engineers, they completed all of the structural calculations that were needed

- Throughout the building process they strived to keep disruption to a bare minimum

- They liaised with Building Control to ensure sign off was provided

- They had interior layout/design suggestions which enhanced the project

- They kept us appraised of any changes to the build's timeframe

- All of their workforce were friendly and polite at all times

- All building work was completed to a high standard

In summary it was a pleasure working with them, and at the end of the project we looked upon Fatmir, Amy, and Lad as friends rather than builders. I would recommend them without hesitation."

Tool shed improvements as follows decommission/remove existing toilet and assoc fittings.
Reposition existing guttering. Demolition of existing internal wall supply and install support team construct new external walls to plan supply and install new door. Extend existing roof above new extension relevel existing floor to a common height.

Excellent communication and environmentally aware. When it became clear a suitable door was unavailable one was custom built for the job. I was offered unused materials after completion including a strip light from another job which was going to waste,all saving me a great deal of money. Garage conversion - turned into bedroom/study. Partician wall shower cubicle, laminate floor – door access to hallway.

Reroofing house and other general maintenance and updating.

"I needed a house I rent out to be reroofed. They explained the maximum amount it would cost but it was a lot cheaper than that. They had been unable to check all of the rafters before they removed the tiles and the initial estimate inclded a full replacement of timbers and retiling, but in the end it wasn't necessary.

The roof is no longer leaking and they reused materiaks wherever possible. Afterwards they cleaned up thoroughly, shich included pressure washing all the barge boards to make them look new.

Overall they worked hard and completed the job properly. They explained everything everything beforehand and showed me pictures they'd taken inside the roof space so I could see the damage that needed repairing."

Sheta Ltd initially undertook some kitchen tiling for me and when I wanted a house built I had no hesitation in asking them to undertake this for me. They are considerate and complete the job properly, unlike many building companies. They make suggestions for improvements and look to undertake their work as economically as possible with high quality.

Feb - June 2013 Two storey extension to the side of the house, including a new shower room, modifications to the existing house including a new central heating system, redecoration throughout and landscaping and new patio outside

"I am absolutely delighted with the work that Sheta Ltd undertook in my home. The work is of a high standard and the team clearly took pride in the work they did. They were very skilled craftsmen as well as builders - able to turn their hands to solving problems and making bespoke items to facilitate the build.
The team were polite and friendly - they worked hard and fast with attention to detail. They were willing to think about changing the plans or adding bits as we went along - thoughtful about the commission eg the build was to accommodate a person with limited mobility so they suggested modifying the plan to include extra hand rails on the stairs and suggested that they sunk the shower tray a bit below the floor level to reduce the step. All very thoughtful. We added in under floor heating too to increase the heat in one room.
The team were on site everyday and gave the job their focus.
The quote was very clear - itemising the costs so it was easy to see how it added up. The payment schedule was set at the beginning and worked well.
I had used Sheta ltd before for smaller jobs - laying a wooden floor, decorating, plumbing so I was delighted that they could take on a big job as their workmanship is 2nd to none.
The outside work is great - a lovely new patio at the back, expertly laid. It has transformed my back garden. The front garden has been landscaped too with a new drive.
Sheta ltd were very aware of external requirements eg we discussed the need not to cover the front garden with a hard surface due to the need for the water to soak in. The buildings control inspector commented on the high standard of their work when she inspected it.
The job included an agreement that any snagging was included - they came back and sorted a couple of snagging issues with no fuss (and it gave me a chance to ask them to do a few more bits and pieces!!).
I could go on - if I had another extension to build I would ask Sheta limited. They are impressive, hardworking, skillful and a pleasure to have around. What more can I say.
