Water coming through roof from a leak around a shared chimney. Original quote was for patching the hole and extending the roof tiles however, on inspection, the whole chimney had to come down.

"I had rain water pouring in through the roof despite another Trusted Trader roofing company having been out four previous times saying they had solved the problem. Kevin (KR Roofing) came recommended - he came out and immediately identified why the previous work had not solved the problem and quoted me to fix the leak which was coming from a chimney and extend the roof tiles to alleviate the rain build up. He arrived with five of his team and, having checked the chimney, immediately made me aware that it had to come down because it was crumbling. He requoted the cost there and then and the guys got to work which took two days. Throughout the job, Kevin took regular photos to show the damage and the remedy. He also sent me the updated quote for the work via email so I had a hard copy of our agreement. He and his team did an excellent job and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend their services. The work they did was outstanding. No more leaks!"

Essentially a new roof. Old tiles stripped and everything removed down to roof joists. New tile battens installed and new tiles fitted. New cladding fitted on dormer window. Old guttering and downpipes removed and replaced.

"Despite dreadful weather, Kevin and his team did a great job. I'm delighted with work that was carried out. At the outset, I was provided with options for the work and received some very good advice. Despite the upheaval, my garden was left in a tidy condition. Replacement of gutters and down pipes, brackets etc. Removal of old gutters and pipes.

"The team were considerate and polite. They advised that there would be a delay to the start of the work due to the storms and a backlog of other work.

They checked there was enough space to get past the scaffolding and were considerate when we needed to get past them.

All the rubbish and old pipes were taken away.

On phoning them to explain a section of one of the down pipes was leaking,the next day after completing the job, they said they would come out the day after which they did and fixed it.
