FGC installed two sets of folding doors (each ~3m wide).

"We spent a long time looking for doors to the garden from our kitchen/lounge renovation. Lots of nice bi-folds but you end up with a large amount of frame which spoils the view. Sliding doors give you more glass but you can't open up the entire width.

We came across the FGC product and it looked ideal. We visited a previous customer and though they were an internal set were impressed by the doors so got FGC in for a quote.

Had to sit down a bit with the price - not a cheap product! However far and away the best solution we found and we have no regrets about making the investment.

We are now two-years on and still love the doors. They do need some TLC as an owner to keep the seals lubricated and track clean. They have also needed a couple of service visits from FGC to make slight adjustments to heights etc. following some bedding-in/settling and I suspect will probably continue to require some annual maintenance. However service visits were done without charge and whilst a bit inconvenient I'm more than happy to accept these trade-offs for having a special and innovate product.

One thing that wasn't really pushed as a feature by FGC but we have found great is that the doors are amazing for keeping the heat of the sun out. It's a south-facing aspect and we were worried it would be too hot in full sun but it's cooler with the doors shut than open!

Overall: great product, expensive but worth it!

The design, manufacture, and installation of double glazed units in a 3-Door combination to a rear extension of a residential property. The design, manufacture, and installation of a double glazed fixed window to replace a set of existing French doors at the same property

"Overall my experience of dealing with Frameless Glass Curtains was a very positive one especially as I was overseas for much of the period when my doors were being designed and manufactured.

Although this is a professional, well-run organisation the customer still has to be prepared to provide some input throughout the process. Apart from the basic selections of the number of units, frame colour, and door handle, the customer is expected to take responsibility for confirming the size of the opening into which the doors are going to be fitted. In this respect, a site survey by FGC would provide more reassurance.

FGC kept me informed at all stages of the project delivery. Replies to emails were usually received within 24 hours and those involved were very competent.

Payment was made in stages as per FGC's business terms and a FENSA certificate was issued shortly after completion.

The doors themselves are very good quality. A point worth mentioning is that the doors are also quite heavy. So while I opted for three units, four would have been easier to operate but at the expense of seeing another "join".

The fitting was done very professionally. The team arrived promptly and made a very good job of the installation. On completion they showed us how to operate the doors and also explained how to keep them well maintained.

The doors have now been installed for just over a year and they have proved to be completely watertight and virtually trouble free. Unfortunately I did have to call for after sales support recently as one of the doors had dropped slightly and would not open properly. Also the other two sections were stuck together having been closed for several months. The call-out request was handled promptly and an appointment was arranged to correct the issues within a week. It was the same team that did the original installation that visited to correct the faults, and once again they completed the work without any fuss in a very controlled and competent manner.

Compared to other companies that supply replacement doors and windows, FGC may seem to be on the expensive side. However they have done work for a number of prestigious clients, and they supply a quality product.

I would definitely recommend that anyone considering replacement doors and windows or who is extending a property considers FGC as a potential supplier for their project. There are definite advantages in their designs which are superior to conventional glazing solutions"

Fix ratting door and slight scrapping of patio door on floor.

I had a small issue with the doors recently and their maintenance team came back within 48 hours to resolve everything whilst giving the doors a complete service. Hello september 2019 I cannot speak highly enough about this company....i had a frameless glass curtain installed by them back in 2009 for my patio door /window and I have loved it. I have recently had need to call them to replace one of the panels as it was misting in between the glass. They dealt with it very quickly and efficiently installing a new panel for me---all without charge thank you so much FGC
