"As a seller of a flat that i had owned for over 20 years and appreciated that it required refurbishment, I was happy to accept an offer that was fair and realistic. The whole process from start to finish was stress free. There was good communication and understanding. As a local company, it also felt more personal.

"This was probably the hardest decision of my life and from my first search for assistance until I finally decided to make formal contact it took me 5 months.

From that moment it took minutes to receive a phone call from Dan. He listened to my situation with empathy and understanding and explained exactly what the company could do to assist me. Although I was almost 200 miles away, I submitted some photos of my property and received an offer the next day. I also spoke to Laura, who covered the legalities and introduced me to specialist solicitors who acted on my behalf.

Everything was done to my timescales, with no pressure when I asked to delay by one week. Thank you both for making a difficult situation bearable."

The property is a 3 bedroom, detached wooden lodge on a beautiful maintained site near Dalbeattie.

"This was a very difficult sale for me as I was selling my late father's property. The lodge was originally for sale with a local estate agent, who were doing very little to try and sell the house and it was on the market for a long time with no interest. I live several hours away and the whole sale was very difficult and stressful.

However, as soon as Scottish Housebuyers took over the sale of the lodge, the whole situation was managed really smoothly and easily.

Dan was so brilliant to deal with. He kept in close contact with me, ensuring that I knew what was going on at all times.

The terms and conditions were clear and the solicitor that I was referred to was approachable and helpful too.

The sale of the property went through really quickly for the price that we had agreed and a completion date of 4 weeks time.

The whole sale was handled with great compassion. Dan and and Laura were so kind and approachable - it was such a comfort to deal with nice people!

"I couldn’t be happier with the service I received. From start to finish, the team were incredibly friendly, professional, and genuinely a pleasure to deal with. They kept me informed at every step of the process, explaining everything clearly and always being available when I had questions. They truly went above and beyond to make the sale as smooth and stress-free as possible. I achieved an excellent price for my flat and, honestly, barely had to lift a finger. "From the first call Laura made me feel comfortable about the whole process and I knew from that call I was making the correct decision. Laura kept in contact on a weekly basis and was incredibly supportive, it felt like speaking to a friend, and took time to listen. They arrived at the time stated to view the flat and seen by the mess it had turned into after letting a relative live there, which I was worried about as I hadn’t been in the flat for about a year. Laura let me decide the timeline for the sale. The offer I got at the start was the amount I got in the sale. This company took away the need of estate agents, viewing and all the stress that goes with that. I used the lawyer Laura recommended and that was stress free and simple and Laura pays a large fee towards costs, so at the same time the lawyer helped me deal with loose ends with the ex-husband regarding the flat. The whole process was seamless and very professional.i had read reviews before calling them as there are so many companies that can be used and the horror stories of getting a smaller offer before the sale closes, but not once did I read anything bad and I am delighted I made the call. I cannot recommend Laura and her team enough, they took one of the most stressful times in someone’s life and made it simple."

This was an extremely stressfull and upsetting time as I was having to empty and sell my younger sisters property as she moved into a Care Home. Laura made this process much less stressful. "From start to finish the personal service and one to one handling we received from Laura was nothing short of exceptional. Laura was very easy to deal with either over the phone or email and when we met her face to face she made us feel very comfortable and confident we were dealing with a honest real person. I have bought and sold a few houses before and would definitely use Laura’s services again without hesitation.

The offer we received was very generous and the flexibility on time scales for me and my family moving was amazing and really helped relieve the stress and pressure the comes with selling a house. When it came to the transfer of money it was very transparent and timely again doing everything Laura had said exactly how she said it would all go.

"Invest in Scottish Properties has helped me to sell my property.

After relationship breakdown, tumultuous times and personal hardships, selling a property was the last thing I wanted to go through. The thought of having strangers coming to view my house at all times, having to talk my kids through everything and negotiating between parties, this all felt completely overwhelming for me.

Laura and Jake provided me with real support when I needed it the most.

Laura kept in touch throughout the whole process, making me feel reassured and keeping me informed. Jake was really professional, providing me with paperwork and arranging the survey of the property. I didn't feel under any pressure and they worked to a timeline that suited me. I felt like they prioritised me and were very understanding of my situation.

I felt that the service was very personal to me and was exactly what I needed at that time. This process has allowed me to have a fresh start for me and my children, and I reached this point in a much easier, less stressful and less invasive way.

"I was genuinely surprised and impressed by the efficiency, professionalism and high standards whilst maintaining an approachable friendliness which is all too often missing in any sales transaction today. Laura and her son Jake were terrific. They helped me through the process and it was speedy and I’m so grateful for their time and effort. I felt they offered a fair price,especially as the house needed work. I was assisted at every twist and turn of the process, to be honest, I did not have much to do. I put it in the very capable hands of Laura and she kept me informed and up to date all the way through. Jake, her son, a very personable young man, came to view the property and put me at ease immediately. I don’t have much time and as such couldn’t do much but that was not a problem for this family firm. In the future, when I have another property to sell, I would not hesitate, I would head straight for the dynamic duo.

Some firms go the whole 9 yards, some the extra mile, here they were light years ahead of any other property buyers out there.
