South offensive lineman Braden Smith, but it appears the Tigers are in the hunt.Smith's father, Dave, that Auburn began showing interest in his son last month, when it became apparent that left tackle Greg Robinson would be leaving early for the NFL draft, and the 6-foot-6, 290-pound Smith is looking to wedge a visit to the Plains into his plans this month.Smith is slated to visit Notre Dame on the weekend of Jan. 17, Texas A M on Jan. 24 and TCU on Jan. 31. His father said he may try to go to Auburn on Martin Luther King, Jr., Day, Jan. 20, after going to South Bend.TCU is thought to have the inside track, but Dave Smith told 247Sports: "He likes (Auburn's) style of offense."Smith could play tackle or guard on the college level. He's rated as the No. 3 offensive guard prospect in the nation in the 247Sports Composite, while Rivals.com lists him as the No. 5 offensive tackle prospect in the country.Auburn has only one offensive lineman committed in its 2014 class, junior-college center Xavier Dampeer.
