In order to entice more families out to their farms to buy Christmas trees, several area Christmas Tree Farms offer additional free kids activities, making the experience more memorable and fun for kids.

This the first year that Greathouse Butterfly Farm in Earleton is selling Christmas Trees, and in order to entice families to come out to their farm, they are also offering Christmas crafts, visits with Santa, sleigh rides, and more! Open every day till Christmas.

Coon Hollo in Micanopy is also selling Christmas trees for the first time at the second annual Christmas at Coon Hollo event taking places December 6th-8th and 13th-15th. Families can also enjoy hay rides, an ice slide, visits with Santa, outdoor movies, and more!

Gibbs Christmas Tree Farm in Citra also features a petting zoo and hay rides. Open Fridays - Sundays till Christmas. Open Tuesday through Friday, 1:00pm to 6:00pm Saturday & Sunday, 9:00am to 6:00pm

Kandy Kane Christmas Treeland in Anthony also offers a peanut boil on the weekends and free candy canes and coloring books for kids.

Neilson's Christmas Tree Farm in Trenton also features a petting zoo, a toy train display, and hay rides on weekend. Open every day 10-6 till Christmas.
