Hoover, Alabama - If you're wondering where Waldo is, you can find him at 's annual open house later this month.

The event, called POPapalooza, will be held Jan. 30 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. The popular book character Waldo will make appearances throughout the night, hosting science and math games.

Currently-enrolled families who bring a guest will be entered into a raffle to win free tuition for one child this March. All new families should stop by the school's office when they arrive to receive a program of the evening's events. The event is open to the public.

Multiple events will be occurring through the evening, and food will be served by the Prince of Peace Knights of Columbus in the school cafeteria. Fifth-graders will perform a musical based on the American Revolution and fourth-graders will hold a Renaissance knighting ceremony. Visitors also have the opportunity to hear the middle school band and choir.

POPapalooza is one of the events celebrating Catholic Schools Week, which begins with a special Mass on Jan. 26 at Prince of Peace Catholic Church. On Jan. 27, as parents drive through the carpool line, students will be handing out scrumptious "breakfast bags" and holding "thank you" signs expressing their appreciation.
