Before you run out of tears from listening to Obama pleading for extending unemployment benefits "..to our neighbors, to your friends, to your relatives, etc...." please make note of this fact and understand that stopping this "extension" and the outrageous outlay of our money was one of a few concessions brought forth by the Democrats and agreed to by Obamain the budget "plan" devised by Congressman Paul Ryan and Sen. Patty Murray to "cut" spending.
This was the Democrats and only the Democrats offering with the Republicans agreeing to this very small "drop in the bucket"of spending. (Compare this to you and I "cutting" 25 cents out of our monthly budget) To me and so many others, it would make a lot more sense to do something about job creation and something to help spur the economy out of its longest recession in our history.
Anyone remember a certain" presidential candidate's pledge to lower the unemployment rate and cut the deficit in half or he would not seek a second term?) But to do so would probably help us and our country and most of us know that this isn't going to happen with this regime. Wake up America--just so many more situations that affect every one of us.
