Replacement of damaged wallpaper in hall and bedroom as well as painting stair handrail and radiator pipe. Delighted with the proficient and perfect work done. Everything looks like new again.

"Joseph Decorating responded promptly to my initial enquiry and arranged to quote for the work required.

I needed a quote for the outside of the house to be painted as well as an amount of internal decoration. I was happy with the quotations received and arranged for the internal work to be done during inclement weather. We agreed that the external work will be done during the Spring once the weather allows.

I am extremely pleased that the internal decorating has been completed perfectly by competent and expert decorators. I look forward to their next visit and am happy to recommend Joseph Decorating."

"Derek initially came round to give us a quote and was very friendly, courteous and professional from the start. We did get other quotes, but we were more than happy to trust Derek, so we accepted his quote.

They were able to fit us in very quickly, as we were only a 3-4 day job, and that was very helpful for us.

Both guys (Derek and his son) were very professional and tidy the whole time. They were here in good time in the morning and got on with the work very efficiently.

Work was completed in 3 days and we are very happy with the quality and service, and all aspects of contact with them (and Christine!)

Joseph Decorating internally decorated our entire house - kitchen, living room, 2 bathrooms, stairs, handrails, office, and 3 bedrooms. Mostly white paint with some colour on one set of stairs. Some repairs on stairs, trimmings and plaster, as well.

The team was punctual, hard working, and talented. They helped us problem solve as the work progressed and always kept us in the loop with regards to next steps and timings. "I can speak wholly positively about Derek Joseph and colleagues. They came on family recommendation, and did an excellent job redecorating our whole house. Their paintwork and wallpapering were immaculate, they sorted out a few unexpected extras as they went (including some poorly-finished plastering) - and their time estimate of three weeks for three men was spot-on (they put in long hours when one of the trio was ill for a few days). And their pricing was very competitive.

In summary: nice people who gave sound pre-work advice - nothing was too much trouble - and, unlike some small businesses, they were efficiently supported by Derek's wife, Christine, who does a lot of behind-scenes work and helps keep everything on track.

Unqualified recommendation: you will not be disappointed."

"Impressed with initial contact and the subsequent quotation which was comprehensive and competitive. The preparation of what was to be decorated was done thoroughly and the painting applied accurately and carefully. Consequently the outside of the building now looks very clean and smart.
