First storey extension over garage and kitchen, construction of oak storm Porch. Rubber flat roof and roof lantern over existing kitchen.

"DPM were recommended by friends and family. We chose to work with David and the team because they were transparent, friendly, and thorough. Throughout the whole project, they were very easy to deal with, extremely tidy, and a pleasure to have around. The standard of work was high, and they went above and beyond with fixing a couple of issues another builder left behind. We were kept informed during the process, and consulted on decisions with a bit of guidance if required. The additional trades that came in (roofers, plumbers, tilers, electricians) also worked to the high standards DPM set - clean, tidy, polite and great quality of work. David and the team restored our faith in trades people, and turned our house into a home. We’ve had loads of compliments on the work, and neighbours went out of their way to tell us how tidy and neat everything was. On top of it all, they are just a great bunch of guys, and despite a bit of mess (to be expected), my family and I really enjoyed having them around. We are very pleased with all they did, but are so grateful for them making our home what we hoped it could be."

To remove old conservatory and replace with a single storey rear extension with roof lantern and bifold doors. Included creating a new utility, lobby area, downstairs cloakroom and new kitchen, plus new doors upstairs, patio, new garden steps and retaining patio walls.

"We initially met David in September 2022 and after accepting the quote we were booked in for a start date of September 2023. Work started exactly on the date given and progressed with deliveries of materials and building inspections which David managed seamlessly. We were kept informed on all build stages and after discussions took up any suggestions from David which enhanced the build. The kitchen was supplied by Howdens through David and was fitted by his kitchen fitter. Attention to detail and helpfulness from all the team was impressive. All was left clean and tidy at the end of each working day. David’s team of electricians and plumbers were also excellent and worked well together. Building work was completed in the time frame specified by David in his quote. We realise that materials and labour are more expensive now but still thought we got extremely good value for money. We would definitely recommend David and his team to anyone requiring any building work as attention to detail was second to none, as well as their punctuality each day and work ethic. Well worth the years wait and are absolutely delighted with the result!"

Single storey rear extension which included a window, roof lantern and bifold doors.

"David came to see us a week before starting work to explain what was going to happen for site set up which was really helpful. The work started on the date given with materials being delivered throughout the day. Work progress outside with no disruption to our daily lives. The outside space and tools were always cleared away at the end of the day and existing paving cleaned. David arranged directly with the building control officer when they needed to attend and each inspection went without a problem. We were kept fully up to date at each stage. The walls and roof went up quicker than we had anticipated and before we knew it it was time to knock through into our existing kitchen. We have a dog so we were concerned the noise would be an issue but David was kind enough to let our dog out during the day and made sure he was happy. David made sure there was a screen put up between the new extension and our existing kitchen so we could continue to use this space, again at the end of every day site was left tidey and all tools were put away. David always gave us updates on progress and discussed small changes to the project that would work better than the original design which he was spot on about. The attention to detail and workmanship was amazing both inside and out. We now have an amazing space inside and a new patio area that we asked David to complete as an extra job. I can't praise David and the team enough for there professionalism from start to finish. I would highly recommend DPM Builders, Thanks again David, Claude and Josh."

"From our first meeting with Dave we knew he was someone we could work with. He was happy to answer all our questions and provide the details of his last 2 jobs so we could seek references (which we did). He inspired confidence, especially when he told us that he only did one job at a time. We liked the way they set up all their tools and equipment (and tea station!) at the beginning so they rarely needed to go off-site for anything. All the materials arrived like clockwork. Dave had excellent relationships with other trades and they commented on how well organised he was, which meant he gave them plenty of notice of when he’d need them. He liaised effectively with building control. His quote was clear and comprehensive and his invoicing was accurate and well organised, with nothing unexpected. We were kept very well informed all the way through, and Dave was exceptionally patient while we made decisions about certain things, and gave us good advice. We felt he was genuinely interested in our job and wanted us to be happy with it. Dave, Liam and Bear were really pleasant and professional. We couldn’t be more pleased with their work or the final result."

To demolish existing sunroom/ utility area, build extension from drawings provided. Over boarded existing lounge and dining room ceilings, removed coving, skimmed all walls, fitted new skirting boards, architraves. Fitted kitchen which was supplied by Howdens, supply and fit slabbing/ slate chippings for patio and path area, supply and fit 2 x fence panels, Build stud around chimney breast to house T.V, soundbar and shelves for T.V boxes. Build partition wall in previous kitchen space for new utility room and W/C. Supply and replaced doors for lounge, utility and W/C.

"We approached David in early 2022 for a quote, we arranged a date and he arrived on the date and time agreed, he was professional and friendly, he explained everything we needed to do such as the checks with the council, CCTV for Severn Trent etc, a few days later David returned to us with the quote, we looked over it and agreed a start date of around the end of November 2022. David kept in touch with us on the progress he was making on the previous job before ours, unfortunately that ran over slightly which was no fault of the builders, with Christmas also approaching we reagreed on the start to be January 2023. As agreed, the job started at the beginning on January.
David, Bear and Josh were all friendly, approachable and professional. They started each morning and got on with the job, and before leaving each day they made sure they cleaned up and was sure that the job had as little impact on us as possible.
David approached us about every decision needed and explained things as they went along. We were always able to get in contact with David if we needed to. All plumbing, kitchen fitting, electrics, roofing and building control was arranged by David which took a big weight of us.
We were told a timescale of how long the job would roughly take (if nothing cropped up), and the job was completed in the timeframe given.
We are extremely happy with our new home, and we would 100% recommend DPM builders. We held out for the right builders and so glad that we did!

2 Storey rear extention, single storey side extension and porch.

"We were really impressed with DPM, from the moment we first met Dave. He and his small team arrived every morning at 8am and when they left in the evening everywhere was tidy and clean.
They were professional throughout and kept us informed on progress.
The quality of their work is exceptional and we are really pleased with our extension.
Ours was a large job and took about 3 months, but Dave essentially project managed it and made sure we knew when to expect disruption (for example when they had to knock through).
They are a really friendly team and we wouldn't hesitate in asking them to come back and do further work in the future.
We also found they were thoughtful in terms of deliveries and parking which meant there was less impact on our neighbours.

There were 2 separate jobs. Firstly an extension on a Bungalow which included the creation of a larger kitchen and family area along with new bathroom and toilet areas. Secondly the replacement of a conservatory with an Orangery at a separate property. The Bungalow ended up as a total refurbishment with a complete re wire, re plaster and new gas central heating system along with some landscaping. The only extra on the Orangery was landscaping.

"We had original quotations working from detailed plans as both jobs had to be submitted to the council for approval. The quotes were detailed but with estimate for electrical and plumbing work.

We received further estimates as the job progressed for additional works such as the re plaster at the Bungalow. Additional charges were fair when compared to the general industry.

The work started near enough to original estimates.

The team were well organised and all materials were on site as required and the work progressed at pace. We received welcome suggestions on any additional work. The site was always neat and tidy.

The standard of work has been high and they have established a good team of electricians and plumbers to work with on both projects.

We managed costs with stage payments through the build. There we no unforeseen costs at the end although we had agreed extras invoiced.

Although there is no specific separate guarantee I have no doubt any problems would be dealt with by the builders."

"A professionally completed project from start to finish. Friendly service with detailed accurate quote. Good communication regarding the start time and length of time likely on site. Extremely tidy workmanship with excellent attention to details. Team on site daily as only undertaking one job at a time so easier to manage and discuss progress/options and are therefore only focusing on the job in hand.

Conversion of a basement space into a habitable room with light tunnel, heat exchange, damproofing and maintaining original features.

"Dave and the team from DPM builders were the perfect example of building services provider. Communications were excellent from the start, invoicing was transparent and consistent throughout, and predicted timings were exactly to the day!

The final finished conversion is very high quality, and the team paid excellent attention to detail in all aspects.

Overwhelming though, just a really nice crew who were very professional, polite and considerate - both in terms of maintaining a covid-safe environment and being as quiet as possible in consideration of our newborn baby.

"We highly recommend DPM builders, who did a fantastic job building our new kitchen extension and a new roof on our property.

Dave, Bear and Liam are really nice guys. They were friendly, polite and professional in their work and always tided up at the end of the day.
They turned up on time every day and worked very hard and completed our extension and roof in the quoted time of six weeks.

The finished extension is really excellent and we would certainly be very pleased to use DPM builders again on any further projects.

This was a kitchen extension / rear garage conversion, with a new roof, plus landscaping to the rear of the property.

"When considering a project like ours, which we knew would take 2-3 months, and would be one of the biggest investments that we had ever made, the choice of builder was always going to be the most important decision. We needed to consider not just their ability to deliver the building work to our satisfaction, but also the fact that essentially, these people would be sharing our space for several weeks on a daily basis.

We therefore interviewed and got quotes from several companies, but as soon as Dave came to see us, we felt immediately that we had someone that we could trust, and of course the references on this site spoke volumes as well.

We were not disappointed.

From the initial discussion about the project at concept stage, right through to completion, Dave and his team showed incredible professionalism, attention to detail and integrity and we would not hesitate to recommend their service to others embarking on a similar project.

Overall our project took almost 3 months during which time Dave, Bear and Liam were with us every day, always punctual, friendly and polite, with no days missed except one due to bad weather. Dave kept us informed daily of their progress and we were struck by their organisation and dedication.

Dave understood from the beginning what we wanted to achieve, and with his knowledge and experience, was always a source of great advice along the way.

Ultimately though, it is all about the standard of the work, which was exceptional, on time and on budget.

The other thing about DPM is their versatility. This team are not just builders, they also manage the project, which spans plumbing and electrical work, bricklaying, carpentry, plastering, roofing, window and door installation as well as landscaping.

We would not hesitate to use their service again.

Single storey, part 2nd storey extension and patio

"Dave and his team impressed us from the start. His knowledge and experience put us at ease and our extension could not have been in better hands.

Before starting Dave did what he said he would do regarding a quote and kept us up to date with regards start date etc.

His team is probably the cleanest that I have ever seen. Every day they made sure that everything was cleared away and tidy before leaving.

Half way through our build lockdown hit us. Dave made sure that our routine was not disturbed and that the site was left safe. He was upfront and honest throughout the lockdown keeping us informed of and changes and when he would be back.

When the work re-started, the time flew by. All of the trades and suppliers were arranged and on time so that the build went smoothly.

We could recommend DPM highly enough and wouldn't hesitate to have them back for any other work that we need.

"We were impressed from the start with Dave knowledge and advice for the work we were undertaking and wanted a company that only did one job at a time. The quality of the workmanship throughout has been excellent and our property was always left immaculate at the end of each day (they even cleaned our neighbours cars which had god dust on from work on our roof - off their own back - we were going to offer to get them cleaned - way above and beyond fellas!).
We have been delighted with how they have kept us informed of progress and any issues and kept to cost and time. Could not recommend highly enough. Thank you so much DPM!"

"We have just had Dave and the guys at our house for 3 months doing a rear extension. The work they have done has been to the highest quality. Everyone that has seen it cannot believe how professional it looks and how quickly they did it.

Dave said the work would take 3 months and it did to the day. They turned up on time every day without fail in all weathers and kept us informed as to what they would be doing. My wife was so happy as they managed to leave us with a working kitchen for as long as possible which really helped with a toddler running around.

I cannot recommend them highly enough and if we have anything done in the future it will be by them(if they can fit us in).

We had a rear and side extension to the ground floor of our property, with a change to the internal layout as well. Two sets of Bi-fold doors. New radiators and boiler. Concrete floors. New electrics to cater for the new build. Groundwork in rear garden. Velux type roof windows.

"Dave was brilliant throughout the whole process from the quoting stage to finalisation. He project managed the whole job and was here every day of the build with his trusted workers, Allan and Bear. He does much of the build himself, bricklaying, plastering, carpentry and much more, all to the highest of standards . He used top quality contractors for things like the roofing, plumbing and electrics and high quality materials in the build. He was polite, helpful courteous and respectful throughout, even when we wanted to make changes to the original plans. His costs came in at exactly what he had quoted apart from the additional work he completed. (He was completely honest, even saving us money on depth of foundations, following a building inspection). He was always at hand to provide advice and we would thoroughly recommend him and his team."

"DPM builders built a first floor extension over our garage with an en suite .The work was carried out quickly and they were self suffecant causing very little disruption to our Daily routine, they always cleaned around behind them at the end of each day.The work carried out was to a high standard and we are very pleased with the end result

"Professional - Polite - Punctual- Proactive- Prudent- Pleasing. This guy knows exactly what he,s doing, he has done a fantastic job on our house and exceeded or expectations of how it looks now. Very close knit team with a close and concise understanding of team work on a daily basis. We would have no Issues in recommending this company to anyone. I often wondered what the "P" stood for in DPM, now I know. Nice one lads.
