The code of practise was not mentioned in detail and it was left for us to pick up in the dreaded small print. Guessing this should be drawn out more when quoting. The BARs advance payment guarantee was not clear. The liability for loss or damage was not really made 100% clear

The GB Liners associate, who was on his own due to late changes, was late on day1 the prepack day. Salesman Martin was a no show as promised on day1. He was going to do a showcase for GB Liners with the interest being Arsenal Football Club and Jeff's relationship. I offered pictures and an interview. Disappointed it didn't happen. Offered a follow up and as of the 22 February still had no communication to follow this up.

One associate expressed extreme political viewpoints. Not ideal and not professional. There was no sack truck. We found that strange. We had to disconnect all electricals the TV station for example we were led to believe this was a provided service. GB liners had to use our stepladder. We both had to help the one associate on prepack day with heavy cupboards and disassembly of some units including whole desk from upstairs. Unacceptable. My wife was concerned about lifting practises and the lack of manual handling, safe use and application. The one associate on prepack day had no tools. Luckily I had a set of screwdrivers and Alan keys. No box taping machine strange. The one associate charged his vape on our electrics. We are very liberal but is this the norm.

The day of the move was much better. The 2 GB Liners associates were excellent nothing was too much trouble including helping us open the sticky door at the new property.

We moved from our previous house 3 miles away there were no access problems and everything went smoothly except the delay in getting keys from our house until almost 4pm. It was worth paying the delay insurance

"Lawrence was with us on both days during the move. He led the team well and on the first day was Ably assisted by Les 5am. Two other staff members replaced them on day 2. All staff were, polite and helpful and we were pleased with their efficiency. "

"Arrived on time, polite and professonal. Helpful in putting furniture and boxes as needed. Very speedy and took away empty boxes when possible. This is second the with this company and I've had excellent service both times"

The move out and into storage was fairly straight forward. The move into my new home was delayed due to the legal team, but GB Liners were very good about not having a set date. The move eventually went very smoothly.

"The one thing I didn�t have to worry about in what turned out to be quite a stressful move was GB Liners.

My belongings were handled carefully. Wrapped were necessary and expertly packed into the containers."

Empty 3rd floor flat and move to new apartment on the 3rd floor, no lift available at either site. Approx one and half mile journey.

"The team were incredible.
Worked well together moving some extremely heavy items, king size bed and mattress, TV, fragile paintings, Hi-fi equipment, speakers etc., a very heavy sofa bed.
On the hottest day of the year!!
Well done."
