"Brian has done many jobs for me both in my own home and in flats that I let. He is one of life's good people, and he is old school. By that I mean his work is to an excellent standard, he does not cut corners, is not in a hurry to rush off to the next job but will make sure the work is neat and tidy and professional - and he charges a fair price. "Quality work and respectful professional.
Brian is the kind of trades person I can respect and want to keep quiet about,
because he's very good, efficient, clearly capable, clearly has good values, good value and fixed the issue.
In other words he's worthwhile.

Thanks Brian for your work and helping nudge my opinion back to positive
(it hasn't been that way with some others)

Restoring an electrical circuit in the living room, dining room, and kitchen after the circuit failed due to moisture penetrating a socket in the tile-lined kitchen plus replacing damaged/rusting sockets

"I can’t recommend Brian highly enough. I had an electrical circuit failure due to moisture in a wall socket. He gave an estimate based on the worst case, with tiling extra. Because of personal circumstances he was unable to do the job when he had hoped, but he kept me informed throughout. When he came he explained what he was doing. He was determined to devise a permanent solution with the minimum disruption and cost, and did so. His invoice was less than his estimate and he did the tiling work himself. He is experienced, extremely conscientious, and great value for money. What more can you ask of a professional tradesperson?"

Replaced every light in my house ( included 30 spotlights, security light, loft lighting,shower etc)

"Brian is the best contractor I have had in a very long time. He is very technically competent (has many years experience), turned up when he said he would, kept in touch with me in between phases of the project ,charged a fair price and there were no surprises with the bill. He was respectful of my property. What I also liked was that he didn't take executive decisions without involving me - he explained my options together with the pros and cons of each and we decided together.He was tenacious in finding solutions to difficult problems ( e.g.imperial fittings that no longer work in a metric world). I would have no hesitation in recommending him and only wish all contractors were as good as he is."

Periodic inspection. Consumer unit update.

"I wanted to have a Periodic Inspection done after water damage on my bathroom ceiling. Brian agreed to come at a very short notice despite his busy schedule. He was sympathetic to my situation - the water damage happened just after my flat was newly decorated - and suggested least disruptive solutions in order to comply with current standards. He patiently explained the result of testing to me, which I much appreciated even though I know next to nothing about electrical installations. Brian kindly offered to stop by again to inspect the ceiling lights when the ceiling was open to be repaired. Later he revisited to update the consumer unit and gave me a satisfactory Electrical Installation Condition Report. He is a real professional who is trustworthy and respects your home - I cannot recommend him highly enough.

"Brian assessed my kitchen lighting, which is complicated as it is in a low arch. He suggested a really neat solution and came and installed it.
What is notable is that I have tried to get this sorted out off and on for some years and he was the first person to think up a sensible simple looking solution - and bonus...it's tailor made and did not cost an arm and a leg.

"Brian gave our lighting problems his prompt and full attention. He explained clearly what the problems were, and then he solved them, with the parts required on his van.
He also got back to us quickly, as promised, after contacting his suppliers of discontinued parts for replacement architectural lamps.
We will certainly be back in touch when we need an electrician in the future. A most positive experience. Thank you

"I cannot recommend Brian highly enough - I had a complete power failure one morning and Brian arrived within 30 minutes to take a look at the problem. He explained exactly what he was checking in each room, and was totally professional tbroughout. Lighting Installation

"After renovating a large area of my flat into 2 medium sized bedrooms, we needed a separate light fitting in each room with its own switch. Brian did exactly what I wanted, extremely tidy and professional the whole time (which wasn't long!) the price was very fair and I now call him for all my electrical needs. He provided a very friendly service and gave alot of useful advice. I highly recommend him. 2 of my friends have also used his services and would also have him back."

"Brian provided a first rate service. He came out as soon as possible to detect the problem. When it was necessary to have a follow up visit to fix the problem, he did so on New Year's Day and charged at his usual rate (which is very reasonable). He explained everything clearly and my electricity was up and running quickly. He didn't charge me until the problem was completely fixed. As I was on my own, I was very grateful to Brian for kindly lending me his extension lead in between the two visits so I could live more comfortably. 10/10 service.
