The British Compressed Air Society has a commitment to promoting high standards in the industry:
2006: BCAS launched a new Code of Practice, clarifying the standards that BCAS members engaged in Sales and Service must meet.
2007: BCAS has worked with Referenceline and a pilot group of BCAS members to develop a system of customer feedback to be used by engineers. The results of this survey are shown here, showing that 90% of customers recommend these BCAS members.
2008: The scheme was formally launched in April at the NEC and with effect from June, all members are encouraged to take part in surveying their customers.
