"We now have a field that partially can’t be used,nobody came back to roll the bit of the field that was worked on as agreed.the stones covering the drainage pipe were of very poor quality and littered with broken glass and ceramics, this in a field which has animals grazing on it.phone calls not returned no contact from them."

All slabs replaced around the back garden & small patio area. All slabs replaced around front garden & front door & path plus side path replaced & widened. Patio area to side of house levelled (lots of earth required) & slabbed.

"The workmen arrived prompt every morning & worked hard all day only taking half an hour for lunch.

The workmen introduced themselves to us & I did say I would never remember their names - which I didn't.

The workmen were polite at all times & anything we asked was explained to us so we could understand better.

The workmen were very helpful & went beyond just doing their job to help.

Matthew Brothers put pebbles down in my front garden area and edged all round. They also re-laid my path. The guys did an excellent job and left the area clean and tidy.

"I mainly dealt with Jim Wishart who was very helpful and gave a lot of useful ideas.

The guys arrived at 08:00 after I left for work and had finished when I arrived home at 17:00. They removed plants, a small tree and hedge before digging down and laying hardcore and edging stones. They then laid a good layer of pebbles and changed my path around to give more walking space.

I will not hesitate to have them back to do my back garden in a few months."

"Good communications and good customer care throughout. Team arrived a scheduled at 08:00 on a Monday, and the job was completed by 16:30 on the same Wednesday.

Workers were excellent throughout and a credit to this company. Quality of finished work looks good.

Enlargement of existing small church parking space by the excavation and landscaping of surrounding garden ground. Installing gabions filled with rubble to protect the site perimeter and laying a level tar surface for the enlarged parking area. Creating a new path to the rear of the adjacent building. "Dealing with Matthew Bros. was a good experience. From the initial site inspection, discussion of work required, resolution of drainage problems and provision of a clear breakdown of cost, we were very satisfied with the attitude and approach taken to our requirements. All the work was carried out swiftly with no impact on the neighbouring properties. The site was maintained in a very tidy and acceptable condition during the work and in an immaculate state when the job was finished.
The job was overseen by Mr Jim Wishart and inspected from time to time by the company owner Mr Donald Matthews. Good service!
We would be happy for any prospective customer to be shown our new carpark at 64 Well Road, Glenrothes.

New Driveway installed.

"For me, this was a big job. The only disruption was relocating the family cars and slightly restricted access to the front door. The damage to the mains water supply and existing drain gullies was rectified promptly and with no additional cost to myself. The movement of the large vehicles required for the job on narrow country roads was handled with no issues, however, removal of the mini digger from the village green could have been attended to quicker.
All in all a very good job."
