Absolutely brilliant movers. No hassle. Really well organised. GEORDIE, Liam, Dean and team were spot on. My two beds were a nightmare to dismantle and put up. My purchased house wasn''t ready so that was a bit of bother but nowt to to with Quiksilver.

We did a move with Quicksilver that also gave included a one week storage at their facility. A week later brought our belongings to our new house and unloaded it quickly again.

"The movers turned up on time, very friendly and loaded everything onto the lorry in a quick, efficient and professional manner.

Very pleased with the service but disappointed that our dining table and antique lamp stand got scratched.

The job consisted of moving us out of our home, putting large items in storage and then moving us back after major structural repairs were carried out.

"We were moved on exactly the dates we requested and the same team members moved us out and in with only one change of personnel. This made the move back much simpler for us all.

The guys also moved garden furniture and pots out of the way for the builders which was quite a lot of extra work. They moved our kitchen sofa upstairs even though it’s incredibly heavy and did it with humour and no fuss.

Quicksilver have been amazing, super helpful and well organised. Nothing was too much trouble and they respected our furniture and house. Items kept in storage were very well cared for. I can’t recommend them highly enough."

"The guys packed my items up with care and with a smile. I was lucky that I had the same crew who delivered them out of storage and up to Scotland for me again putting together items such as beds and sofas with care.

"The team Quicksilver sent were professional, courteous, and very accommodating. It was a difficult job from the aspect of access to the bungalow however the team complete with supervisor Geordie overcame every obstacle they encountered. Straightforward move between houses

"Quicksilver were a pleasure to deal with. Easy to understand itemised quote. We had the packing service the day before, packers were efficient and worked very hard. The actual move on the day was great, all packed up by lunchtime.

Unfortunately, everything to do with the completion of the property and transfer of money didn’t go through until nearly 4pm. Quicksilver guys were great though, obviously used to it, so on arrival at the new property help was drawn in from every available Quicksilver guy who was available, brilliant.

Everything was unloaded within a couple of hours. Only downside was that some boxes were not in rooms I wanted them in, but not the end of the world, the guys worked so hard."

5 containers of furniture had to be uplifted from a competitor’s storage facility and some items delivered to our current address before loading much more furniture including a large shed and then transporting everything in 2 lorries to the Isle of Skye- an 8 hour plus journey. 2 lorries then unpacked at the new address

We were notified by our solicitors late on a Monday afternoon that contracts had been exchanged and we had to move house 3 days later on Friday. After previously being told we could not book a removal firm until contracts had been exchanged. This was very stressful at short notice. We had a previous quote from QuickSilver which was very reasonable but we doubted they would have availability. I rang on the Tuesday & the receptionist said they could fit us in for Friday. It was such a relief at a very traumatic time.

"Excellent service from start to finish.Team arrived promptly and quickly loaded our furniture and boxes onto removal van.They were polite & friendly, nothing was too much trouble.
They left for their lunch leaving a mobile number to ring as soon as we collected keys to new home.
After an hour we received the keys, no sooner had I informed them we had access they arrived to unload our belongings. The whole process was very efficient from start to finish.
I would highly recommend Quicksilver Removals, definitely value for money.

"Our Quicksilver movers, Geordie and Liam, were true professionals. They understood instinctively that moving is a very stressful experience, and they made sure that everything they did put us at our ease and made us feel confident in the move. They communicated well with us, and nothing was too much trouble. They took great care of moving anything delicate or large - it was impressive to watch!

The back office team at Quicksilver were efficient and responsive. All round, it was a great service. We will definitely use them again, and recommend them to our friends. In particular, we would unhesitatingly ask for Geordie and Liam if we move in the future."
