We had a full pack and removal into storage over two days in three Luton vans, including dismantling of a large IKEA bookcase and king size bed. We received a detailed inventory of what was in each of the 8 crates whilst our property spent five weeks in storage. It was then delivered to our new house and the bookcase and bed were reassembled. They arrived at 1.30 and didn''t leave until after 6pm. Before they could unload the Lutons, they had to chop their way through the branches of a large tree which was blocking the drive near the house. All done with cheery smiles!

We went for a full pack, removal into storage and out again five weeks later. TJ and his team did an amazing job with the packing (we didn't realise we had so much china and glassware!) and were highly professional throughout. They had to negotiate some steep stairs with bulky furniture at both ends but everything arrived safely when we finally unpacked it. They quickly dismantled a complex IKEA bookcase and a big bed and reassembled them in the new house. They went above and beyond to ensure that the furniture and boxes were placed in the correct rooms and helped place some large rugs under the setees. We were very happy we had chosen Lomers and would highly recommend them to others."

House move after 28 years.

"We hadn’t moved house for over 28 years and were naturally apprehensive. After our meeting with Anna, head of sales at Lomers we knew this was the company for us. Anna was very professional and filled us with confidence. Our move was over a two day period and the crew assigned to us, led by Darren were the most polite, respectful and likeable team. Nothing was too much for them and they alleviated the stress of the move. The whole of Lomers seem to work like a Swiss watch and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them."

Ours was a move in three parts! We had stuff in storage with Lomers and also, because we had the luxury of a bit of time, we were able to spread the load over a few days.

"The whole team, from those in the office to the guys on the removal crews, were courteous and polite but also friendly and humorous, many laughs were had over the moving days. We had a couple of tiny hiccups which were swiftly dealt with. Total transparency, we chose Lomers because they were just down the road from us but would have no hesitation in recommending them and would definitely use them again."

"Lomers made our move smooth and stress free. Moving from our family home after 18 years was a pull and we have a great deal of stuff! The team were superb; polite, helpful and diligent. We had the same team over three days which was helpful. The quote was completed quickly by Gary and the office team helpful when I needed to discuss things."

We moved from a large 3 storey house to a much smaller residence.

"I was dreading the move - having been there 67 years, but the Lomers team made it so much easier than I had expected. They even managed to move huge, really heavy garden stone pots/urns - and basins - and place them in the new garden. The stone pots were already damaged, but they moved them without further damage - an impossible job that they managed to achieve!

We had a lot of stuff and I was dreading the move. The Lomers team were kind, respectful, efficient, super quick, and very careful, while also being supportive to the emotional side of the move.They made it so much easier than I had expected.

I moved on 2nd March from a 3 bedroom house in a small village to a new build 2 bedroom town apartment. It was a real downsize! I also had a large garden over 3 levels with 2 sheds and my new apartment had 2 paved terraces. The move was mostly boxes, lots of pictures and plants in pots with 2 double beds, 2 armchairs and shelving units making up most of the furniture.

"I rang to ask for a quotation and received a visit within a week. The agent who came asked me explicit questions about what I wanted moved in each room and explained their packing service and what I could expect on the day.
I received a detailed quote and their terms and conditions, insurance information within a day. I had made a number of appointments with different removers and chose Lomers because I was impressed by the visit, the information provided and their quote seemed to be best value. I rang to accept their quote within a week and was sent online forms to fill out giving them specific information about what was to be moved etc and the approximate date.
I booked a firm date when I was told by my estate agent I would be exchanging the next day and the date my buyer suggested for completion. However within 24 hours my buyer had a small issue to be sorted and I had to cancel the date and wait for a new exchange date. Lomers did not charge me for this and pencilled in a new date although they although they could not take a firm booking until after I had exchanged. I thought this was fair and reasonable.
The day before the move a member of staff arrived to pack up the kitchen and glassware. He was very experienced and was polite and courteous at all times, taking great care with my property. On the morning of the move 2 members of staff came and walked through the house with me checking exactly what was going and what was staying. They worked without a break until the van was loaded; although they did drink the tea / coffee I offered. They then asked me to walk through the house with them again to check they had taken everything and that everything that should be left was there.
They arrived at the apartment at the time agreed and once again unloaded efficiently checking which rooms boxes and furniture should be put. They also took back with them all the boxes that had been emptied.
I would be happy to recommend Lomers as everyone I dealt with was professional, polite and efficient."

The move was not very far, within the same town, but access was difficult for big vehicles and we have a lot of belongings.

"When Anna from Lomers came to quote for the removal, she filled us with confidence as to the requirements of the move. Our access was restricted so she suggested 5 smaller vans over two days and all the boxes we could use included in the price. The guys that shifted our belongings were friendly, jovial and fast at moving everything, fuelled by tea and a few biscuits. "I was very pleased with the professional and helpful service provided by both the admin team and the removal staff.

They were able to respond at short notice and the removal team remained helpful and cheerful despite bad weather, congested motorways and difficult single lane access in Derby.

Removal of approximately 15 miles from 3-bed terraced house to 4-bed semi, plus contents of large shed (including heavy machine tools) and a large number of garden items (including potted plants). We packed the boxes ourselves.

"From the start Lomers were easy to deal with and responsive to our questions and concerns, especially when agreeing a completion date. We were able to pick up several large consignments of boxes. The lorries were mostly packed the day before completion and the crew put us at our ease and helped to make the process as stress-free as possible; they were very skilled at packing our belongings carefully and efficiently. On arrival at our new home items were deposited according to our wishes. Throughout the process everyone from the company we came into contact with was relaxed and efficient and a pleasure to work with."

Pack and remove to storage and deliver part to Charmouth. Removal from storage and transship to new home.

"Process for quoting works was very efficient.
The team arrived on time and handled all of our packing and removal needs professionally. Could have been more diligent - creating inventory and removing to storage items intended for interim use. detailing packed items would have been a real bonus when it came to unpacking. And the inventory was not complete and despite informing the office this was not amended.
The items were stored well and no concerns on unpacking.
Plan to deliver from storage were well described and adjustments made (at, we believe, high cost) to meet our transship needs.
Both the Lomer’s team and the sub contracted team from Bridport were very efficient, friendly and adapted to our needs.
We would see overall that we received a highly professional service but the cost for removal from storage to account for transship was more than we would have expected."

We needed a company to move us from West Sussex to Scotland.

"We chose Lomar on price and local/neighborhood recommendation
We packed ourselves but Lomar supplied boxes and paper.
They collected on Friday, sending a small van on Monday morning for the few bits and pieces left.
They arrived in Scotland 11ish Tuesday Morning to unload.
All the team were polite, professional, caring and friendly.
