National Association of Estate Agents

THE NAEA is the largest professional estate agency organisation in the UK. Representing nearly 10,000 members, the NAEA is committed to raising professional standards across all aspects of the property market for the benefit of member agents and ultimately the home moving public.

Membership of the NAEA is on an individual basis and includes principals, partners and directors of agencies and employees working in agencies. Only those companies which have Principal, Partner or Director as a Member are entitled to use the NAEA logo.

The Property Ombudsman

The Property Ombudsman (TPO) is independent and provides a free, fair and speedy review of complaints between registered agents and clients that fall within his terms of reference. The law requires estate agents involved in the buying and selling of property in the UK to register with an Estate Agents Redress Scheme approved by the Office of Fair Trading (OFT) and TPO is one of those approved by the OFT. Agents may also register with TPO for Lettings, Commercial and so on, so please check below to verify this agent's category of membership.

The Property Ombudsman - Residential Sales Redress Scheme and OFT Approved Code

This agent is registered with The Property Ombudsman’s Redress scheme relating to property sales. The agent has also signed up for the Code of Practice for Residential Estate Agents. This Code has been approved by the OFT under its Consumer Codes Approval Scheme and provides consumers with additional protection.
