Glass, expensive china; music studio equipment and general household items.

"Andy and the team were brilliant. We had to move lots of fragile china; glass and music room studio equipment. Not one item was damaged after the move. All we had to do was box up and then unpack; during the actual move we didn't need to lift a finger. I recommend Bain Removals to anyone; they are a first class company."

C Bain moved us from Hornchurch to Leigh on Sea on an extremely hot day in September 2023

"C Bain were recommended to us and that is why we approached them first. From Andy’s first visit to the end of the move we felt totally confident with C Bain. We knew exactly what was happening and when, and despite us having to change the date this was not a problem. Packing materials were supplied nice and early, and a very good explanation given how to pack.

On the day of the move the team turned up nice and early, and despite the excessive heat worked like troopers all day to move all our household items without a fuss. We actually felt sorry for them as they were sweating so much, but they remained cheerful and approachable.

All our household items were moved as agreed and nothing was damaged whatsoever. At the new property all items were sited as marked on the boxes, the beds were built and clothing rails were erected to put all our clothes on where required.

We would highly recommend C Bain as they took a lot of the stress out of our move day, and provided good value for money as well. They are a really nice group of people who provide a professional yet personal service that you can rely on."

The move was from a 4 bedroom house to a 3 bedroom house just a mile away.

"The move was from a 4 bedroom house to a 3 bedroom house just a mile away on a Friday which is usually the busiest day. The guys came and packed up about 75% the day before but only items that we were happy for them to take. They were prompt, efficient, polite and personable. I cannot fault any part of the move that they were involved in and would highly recommend them to anyone. Everyone that helped me with the move was very impressed by them and their service, professional from beginning to end. They made what could have been a stressful day extremely easy. They were also the most competitively priced. An absolute win on all areas. Would definitely recommend. Many thanks guys."

The move was from a 2 bed flat in Hornchurch to 3 bed detached in Birmingham. Apart from my computer, tv, home cinema, 800 blu rays there wasn''t too much more to take.

"C Bain were excellent in moving my belongings from Hornchurch to Birmingham. The team were friendly, good fun and most all, very efficient, and professional. I couldn't want for more; nothing was too much. They were on the ball and took a lot of stress out of the move. Thanks guys, you were magic!"

We moved from Upminster to Wales with a lot of fragile glass items and large paintings that were given a lot of care when packing and they arrived safely at our final home.

"Andy and his team provided an impressive service on our move from Upminster to Wales. Queries were answered timely and accurately and the whole process worked as detailed on the quote. Even when the unloading became a hill marathon for the team they took it in their stride and remained courteous. I would definitely recommend C. 240 mile move from Rainham to Chester.

"We were rather daunted at the thought of the move to our new home in Chester from Rainham Essex.

However as soon as Andy arrived to evaluate the removal costs and logistics our minds were put at rest. Andy was polite,positive and professional. Of the three removal companies we spoke to and had 'estimates' Andy's caring attitued swayed it for us.

On removal day Andy and his team arrived on time. They were considerate and took great care in covering and protecting the areas in which they were working. After a couple of hours we offered the team a cuppa which they gratefully accepted. During this short break in the garden they spotted a football and started a 'kick around'. Our pet dog Pepper joined in and great fun was had by all. Pepper won by 2 goals to 1.

Because of the distance of the removal in meant a 2 day job. We travelled up on the day of completion and Andy and his team drove up and parked up overnight near Chester.

On the second day Andy and his team once again arrived on time and showed the same care and attention they showed on the first day. The team were easy to get along with and had a great sense of humour.

We would like to thank Andy and his team for all their hard work. It made what is a stressful time so much easier to cope with."

A short distance move, but with all our belongings needing two lorries to move them. Both lorries needed to reverse down a tight cul-de-sac negotiating parked cars, which was achieved safely and efficiently.

"Through the whole process everyone at C. Bain were extremely helpful and professional.

From the initial visit where Andy was polite and explained the whole process.

Then despite a protected move which went on for nearly a year, with multiple attempts at agreeing dates with the chain meaning that I called the office many times to check on potential dates, and each time Linda was very understanding, polite, and helpful during this stressful time.

When the move day finally came, Andy and the team got started nice and early, loading two lorries very efficiently. Despite the temperature increasing by the time we had the keys for our new home, the team cracked on with the unloading and worked tirelessly. Throughout the load and unload everyone was very helpful and professional.

What could have been such a stressful day was actually made very easy with the help of Andy and the team.

A great price and great service, they were one of five companies we asked to provide us with a quote. Overall, we would definitely use C. Bain of Upminster again and would highly recommend everyone to use them.

We used C. Bain of Upminster for our move from Romford to Frinton-On-Sea. We opted for self-packing, but included dismantling and reassembly of 3 beds. We moved from a 3-bedroom house to a 4 bed, 60 miles away. We also have a lot of large furniture, American fridge freezer, and a large shed to empty. The 3 bed house is on a tight road that has a lot of cars and also has some steps either side for access, and the new house down a cul-de-sac.

"Through the whole process they were extremely helpful and professional! From the initial visit Andy was polite and explained the whole process, giving estimates on time scales and even what to do at certain points of the sale and purchase process. I called the office many times to check and pencil in any dates that the chain proposed… and even though this changed many times, Linda was very understanding, accommodating and helpful during this stressful time. They delivered all the materials we needed well in advance and provided more than enough for our needs.

When the day came, Andy and the boys got started nice and early, and despite the rain, and road being blocked with cars, they were proactive and started the process of loading. We opted for dismantling of beds, which they also assemble the other end to make life a bit easier on the day. The contents of our 3 bed house was loaded on to the lorry by 11am. The new house was over an hour away, but when we arrived to Frinton the keys were ready, and so were Andy and his team, who were waiting for us at the property. They started unloading at 1pm and finished at 3pm, with all boxes in the correct rooms, including assembling the beds! What could have been such a stressful day was actually made easy with the help of Andy and the team. Overall, we would definitely use C. Bain of Upminster again and would highly recommend everyone to use them! We would like to thank them all for their help through the whole process.
