Blackhall Moving & Storage cover Edinburgh and the Lothians behind this set-up is Simon Munro who has over 35+ years experience in all aspects of the storage and removals industry in Edinburgh and he will personally oversee your move from the initial visit of a FREE no obligation survey, from which he will follow up with a formal fixed priced removal quotation and then supervise your move on the day thus offering a personal level of service which other removal companies would struggle to match. Our friendly and fully trained uniformed removals staff enables us to go the extra mile on service and quality for complete customer satisfaction, giving you peace of mind and a stress free move.

The team arrived exactly on time on the date agreed and were extremely professional and courteous. Our possessions were delivered to our new address and everything was in order.

"I used Blackhall Moving and Storage for a recent local move in the Edinburgh area and cannot rate them highly enough.

Excellent service, both from the office team and the movers on the day, including some very impressive driving to get the van right up to the door in a tight space and managing to get a large sofa into a small flat.

All done with good humour and professionalism from start to finish and at a very competitive price. I will absolutely be using the company again."

We were moving from Edinburgh to Cupar Fife.

"Our move took two days. On day one, our boxes were loaded onto a large truck by four movers. On day two, our boxes were delivered to Fife and unloaded into the house/garage, by three.
The truck arrived on time and for the entire time of the move, the men all worked extremely hard. They were polite and efficient at all times. We had no breakages, and they never blinked at anything we asked to be moved.

The work finished early on both days, and before they left, everyone wished us well in our new home. I would thoroughly recommend Blackhall Moving and Storage Ltd."

"I had an excellent experience with Blackhall Moving and Storage. The cost of my move represented extremely good value for money. The terms and conditions of my move were clearly explained. My breakables were expertly packed in advance. On the day of the move from Edinburgh Danny and Johnny arrived punctually and I was very impressed by their professional approach; everything went extremely smoothly and quickly. Nothing was too much trouble for them and they were always friendly and polite. I particularly appreciated that they took such great care of both the house and the items being moved. They arrived on time in Fulbourn and unloaded my effects quickly and efficiently. Their attention to detail was excellent. I cannot recommend this company highly enough."

Our contract with Blackhall Moving and Storage Ltd was to move us out of our house, storing the contents until our new place was ready then moving us into it.

"From the start everyone was courteous and professional in every way. The contract and costs were clearly detailed. They offered packing boxes and tape if required. During the move out they dismantled beds, dining table, etc. The move was very quick due to the efficiency of the team. They were respectful of our property. They held our contents in their storage for 5 months while our new place was being renovated. The move in was no different from the move out, Quick, efficient and respectful of property. They have understanding of the stress moving can be but they help to lessen that. Would definitely recommend Blackhall Moving and Storage Ltd."

Removal and overnight storage of all contents from a 2-bed, 2nd floor flat. Parking was extremely limited and difficult outside the flat, so Blackhall put cones out to reserve space for a large lorry. Contents delivered to new property the next day once keys were available.

"Having recently used Blackhall Moving & Storage to help with a house move in Edinburgh, we can't praise them highly enough! They were professional and helpful throughout the entire process. From visiting our flat in order to provide a competitive quote, dropping off plenty of boxes and bubble wrap for us to pack our belongings, the very efficient and careful packing and unpacking of their van, to liaising with Vicki in their office on the completion day, we were really impressed with the whole company.

The teams who did the packing and delivery worked incredibly quickly but showed great consideration with our belongings and both properties. We have an old piece of furniture that has seen better days but has sentimental value - it arrived in perfect condition.

Blackhall helped reduce our stress through the whole process and we can't thank them enough! We don't plan on moving again but if we do, Blackhall will be the first and only company we contact."

"Ours was a relatively long distance move at a busy time of year. I was stressed even thinking about it .
Blackhall removals were beyond brilliant throughout the whole process
When the dud the packing they turned up exactly when they said they would - and got straight down to work
After a long drive they again got straight to work as soon as they arrived to deliver .
They were efficient, friendly and patient ( when I asked them to move the position of things a couple of times !)

"Blackhall were excellent through the whole process. Kept in touch with regards to the progress of our sale and this really provided peace of mind throughout the stresses of moving home.
We paid for our house to be packed and the service from when they arrived, to when they delivered everything to our new home, was excellent. All the staff were so polite and professional. Really can’t say what a huge difference it made to our move. We had got a few quotes from different removers and Blackhall were the most reasonable."
