I was looking for kennels for my pet dog for when I was on holiday. Crinan kennels came recommended by friends but also I looked on the internet for kennels. I chose the kennels because they only have 10 boarding kennels and they totally offer a very personal individual care package for your pet. The dogs are socialised when able and if not able they also tailor a package to suit certain dogs personalities. They also sometimes put some pictures or videos on social media which also helps owners leaving their pets. The kennels are immaculate and they also feed the dogs with high quality food.

The kennels are immaculate and the dogs have a package very centred around the particular dog and it’s personality. Gavin and Lisa are welcoming and very informed
Re all breeds of dogs and knowledgeable about the needs of your dog when in kennels. Our dog can sometimes react to other dogs and Lisa & Gavin take this on board and as asked encourage Oscar to socialise with other dogs and keeps us update with his progress. I can offer no suggestions which would help our experience of the kennels - we love it."

I was looking for a reliable friendly kennels that offers both daycare and overnight stays. I chose this firm as they were highly recommended, as well as being very friendly and understanding my needs.

"From start to finish, Gav and Lisa were amazingly understanding. We had just got a rescue dog who was extremely hyper, so needed some time playing and socialising whilst I worked. Milo would go to daycare with them every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at a lovely affordable price of £11 a day. Overnight stays was great price too at only £17 a night. The facilities were lovely, multiple play paddocks so more than one dog can go out in different paddocks if they aren’t social etc, ensuring they all get plenty of exercise and play throughout the day. Milo - my Labrador would always be excited to go there, ran straight into his kennel and always happy to see the staff. He would also be very tired when he got home showing that he had plenty of time playing throughout the day! He became a regular so made many dog friends who he would love to see each time he was in. The team would listen to whatever I asked, and inform me of how his day went. They were fast at replying to messages if we required anything also.

All in all it felt like a proper family, due to moving jobs I had to stop using them for daycare, but we continue to highly recommend them and will use them for boarding.

I truly believe they helped Milo with both his separation anxiety and his hyperness. He’s a lot calmer now, can be left in the house with no issues and much more social and trusting around other dogs. I have expressed my thanks to the team, but they really did go above and beyond."

A safe place for my dogs to stay whilst we were away

I was looking for a kennel for 2 border collies one that was 11 and one that was just over a year, it was her first time in a kennel. I went to visit the kennel before I booked to make sure the facilities matched my needs and they certainly did. Whilst there I spoke with other owners who were dropping off and collecting and their high praise was enough to feel confident that my dogs would be in good care and well looked after

The first visit myself to look at the kennels to the booking in I was made to feel at ease.
Gary explained everything and showed me the food they ate and listened to the routine I have with them and their little habits.
I saw pictures on Facebook and a message from the owners to tell me the girls were eating well and were all good.
When I collected my dogs Gary spent time talking to me and my girls were very happy just sitting waiting and getting goodbye claps.

We wanted our dog to be cared for and not just housed. Crinan were offering care and time for the dogs kennelled with them.

"The main thing is that our dog loves going to Crinan. He gets lots of attention and opportunities to play.
Lisa and Gavin are always willing to accommodate if I get delayed at work. They care about the dogs in their care and are very experienced with and understanding of each dogs needs.

Safe, secure and comfortable accommodation for 1 week. Located contact details through Google and was recommended to Crinan by another cattery in the area due to its exercise space and ease with which bot cats could be accommodated together.

"Both of our cats (under 1 years old) seemed to be pretty well looked after and fed well. Good quality accommodation units with a nice bit of outside space. Gavin was very accommodating at a change of plans which meant our cats were collected a couple of days early. We shall certainly use Crinan again !!"

We wanted to feel like our pets mattered and it was like home to home.
We wanted to make sure our pets were well looked after.
 

"This a truly amazing facility. We are so lucky and fortunate to be able to book both our cat and 2 dogs in. Both our dogs have different needs our Malamute needs a colder environment for his coat, whereas our miniature Jack Russell needs a warm environment both were fully accommodated. Our dogs need a special diet, also accommodated we love Gavin and Lisa nothing is a problem. We don't worry about our pets when we are away and book with them as soon as we are booked a holiday. Photos appeared on their facebook page which was great while on holiday.

I wanted some where that could be twisted to look after my 2 yr old German shepherd, with knowledge staff that genuinely care for all dog breeds. In the wrong hands my dog could be a handful and I didnt want to just leave him with anyone. Through word of mouth I found Gav and Lisa.
 

"I really couldnt ask for better. My dog has stayed with them twice now and both times on my return he has been really settled and happy. He's a big dog and can take a bit of handling but Gav and Lisa appear to manage him no bother.
