When on holiday in the area there was a problem with my car''s brakes, requiring the fitment of a new caliper.

"When on holiday in the area my car experienced a problem with its brakes which required recovery from my breakdown service. I needed to find a local garage and after a quick search stumbled across Karcare who had good reviews.

On phoning Karcare they answered quickly, were friendly, understood the issue and managed to move work around to fit us in on the same day. On my arrival at the garage they were friendly, efficient and identified the issue quickly. They pointed me in the direction of the town and nearest cafes and after a short wait over coffee the car was repaired and ready for the road.

I'd thoroughly recommend Karcare as a trustworthy and helpful garage. It I was more than a visitor to the area I would be more than happy to use them for all car repairs."

"We were on holiday when our car broke down, too far from a local garage to be recovered under our AA cover. Fortunately Jim and the team at Karcare were incredibly helpful and efficient, organising recovery within hours of us calling, keeping us updated while we waited, and ordering in the part needed before our car even got to them. They kindly lent us a vehicle so that we could continue with our holiday, and we were back on the road with our car fixed in less than 24 hours of first calling them. Our brakes packed in just before a long journey,

"KarKare saw us within the hour and by the next morning had ordered and fitted new brake discs, callipers and pads as well as giving their advice on other potential future issues with our vehicle.
I can not recommend them highly enough they saved us hundreds in car hire and accommodation and were all a pleasure to deal with.

MOT test and repair.

"A brilliantly friendly and personalised service from a long trusted garage.

I left a voicemail asking for help with a number of cars that needed attention. One long standing fault needing attention on one car, and the other car needing an MOT. The garage phoned back to discuss the issues as soon as they rec'd the message. The fault was diagnosed over the phone and as such the garage ordered the part for arrival the next day. The part was fitted, and the problem cured after months of uncertainty. Should've contacted them sooner... ;)

The turnaround on the MOT was same day. A sticking brake was promptly dealt with.

Both cars were cleaned before pick up which is always a lovely touch.

Lovely people and great to deal with. Fair pricing. Highly recommended."

"Karcare ...it is well named. They certainly look after your car. For years my wife and I had been using main dealers for servicing and repairing our VW Passat and Renault Clio. We got fed up travelling miles and miles to get the work done only to be charged expensive dealer rates for average and sometimes questionable workmanship. We then found Karcare in a neighbouring town not far from our home. In our opinion, Jim Kirk and his team, Martin, Alan and Wendy are very friendly, very accommodating and very helpful. They are an honest, highly professional and skilled team. We have been using Karcare for many years now and have total faith and confidence in what they do. No job is ever too small and work comes in on price and on time. We would highly recommend them to anyone. You won’t be disappointed."

"As ever work carried out efficiently and quickly. Kept up to date on work needing done. As ever, Jim supplied a wee courtesy car to keep me mobile. Usual excellent service I’ve come to expect at a decent price.

Just a great team to deal with. Friendly approachable staff and they always appear cheerful which indicates a happy staff to me. Nothing seems to be any effort, just get on with the job.
