About Us

Claymore Windows Ltd values honesty and reliability while providing a high-quality product designed to suit your needs, budget and property. We are a local family-run company manufacturing PVCu windows, doors, French Doors, Patio Doors and conservatories in our Dundee-based factory - fitting throughout Dundee, Angus and Fife.
Our PVCu window and door profiles come in standard white, rosewood, golden oak and anthracite as well as other
colour options.
Glass comes in a variety of options including double glazed and triple glazed units with clear, decorative or obscure finishes.
We also provide a range of Hurst composite doors and Victorian Sliders vertical sliding sash and case style windows as well as roofline, downpipes and guttering.

Utility room of a Victorian house. In keeping with the age of the property, we asked for sash-and-casement. Required 4 windows, one of which was a fixed pane.

"Claymore first provided us with three replacement windows in the house, early in 2025. The work was so well done that we asked them to carry out the utility room work too.

First visit - to decide the style and look of the windows, and the initial measurements taken. As we already had a few double-glazed windows, we needed exactly the same look - sash and case, with a central, vertical, bar on each pane.

Second visit - Once we confirmed the go ahead, a second visit was soon arranged to carry out the final measurements, with dates confirmed for when the work would be carried out (this took place within two or three weeks of the second visit).

Installation - The team arrived at 8:30am and worked through till 8pm to complete the job in one day. Before work commenced on each window, dust sheets were used, inside and outside the window to catch any debris created as the old windows were removed. New windows were then fitted, in turn, before they were all dressed (finish panelling etc), and then sealed.

Any and all debris was collected, swept or hoovered up, and removed by the Claymore team. The utility room was cleaner when they left than before they started.

I can't give them high enough praise for the standard of job carried out: 5-Star, Ten Out of Ten, Highly Recommended. Take your Pick!

"Myself and extended family have been using Claymore for a number of years and have always been very satisfied with the service provided. On this occasion we had a new composite front door and side panel fitted. From the moment we requested a quote, the service provided was exceptional. Alan explained the entire procedure and provided a detailed quote. On the day of fitting, the guys just got on with the job with no fuss and finished on time. There was no mess left behind. We are delighted with our new door / panel and it is satisfying to know there is a 10 year guarantee.

New upvc windows for a bay window in a bedroom

"Great, efficient and simple process. Rang on a Monday, was lucky enough to have somebody out on the Tuesday, quote in Wednesday morning which we agreed and they were back on Thursday to finalise contract and complete accurate measurements. Date was agreed to fit the new windows which wasn’t very far in the future.

Nearer the time we had a phone call asking if fitting would be convenient on the Wednesday/Thursday rather than Thursday/Friday which was fine with us.

The fitting was professional, dust sheets laid throughout the house to the room where the windows were being fitted and in the room itself and they just got on without any fuss, working hard all day Wednesday and then back to finish on Thursday.

When complete tidied up after themselves including hoovering, very impressed. All in all very satisfied."

They also took my blinds down for me, and refitted them too.

"I couldn’t be happier with the service I received from Claymore Windows from start to finish. From my initial enquiry through to the final fitting, everything was handled professionally, efficiently, and with genuine care for quality and customer satisfaction.

The team took the time to explain all the options available and helped me choose a composite front door that perfectly suits my home. The door is really lovely — solid, secure, and finished to a very high standard. It has already made a huge difference to both the appearance of my house and the warmth inside.

On installation day, the fitters arrived on time, worked neatly and respectfully, and left everything spotless when they were finished. Their attention to detail was excellent, and it’s clear they take real pride in their work.
