Installation of solar panels, batteries, inverter and associated equipment and cables.

"We were looking for competitive quotes for a solar installation and during that process we requested a quote from RJW Electrical Services. Straight away when we met Rob Wade the director of the company we felt at ease and he explained the whole process and the timeframe to expect. He made us aware of the technicalities, warranties and expected outcomes in terms of energy savings etc which was most welcome. We received his quote after a couple of days which was detailed and unambiguous. After reviewing all of the quotes we decided to proceed with RJW Electrical Services.
On the day of the install the team arrived as promised and introduced themselves before starting the installation. I am an electrical engineer by profession and I was most impressed by the knowledge and professionalism displayed during the two days that they were here. They were courteous throughout and were very happy to answer any questions that we had about the installation or the system. They completed the work and removed all packaging and cleared up after themselves which was
appreciated.
Since the system was installed it has performed as promised and we are very happy with it. The warranties and Certification have been received and we have absolutely no hesitation in recommending RJW Electrical Services to anyone thinking about having a solar installation.

Electrics: Extractor fan installed in bathroom including new ducting, Outdoor electric cable checked and plug rewired, table lamp fixed, two living room lights replaced Plastering: huge hole in ceiling boarded and entire ceiling plastered

"Initial contact and quoting process was swift with good communication and pricing was clear. The job ended up being a little more complicated than the initial electric works expected when plastic cladding was removed from the bathroom ceiling to reveal a huge hole. The company presented a solution that was helpful, completed very quickly and to a high standard.

The workmen were friendly and informative, causing very little disruption and areas were left tidy. I would definitely use RJW Electric Services again and would recommend to anybody."

Robert and his workmen stepped in at the last minute to put back an existing inbuilt solar system-replacing damaged parts - restarting it after I was let down by the first installers who had caused extensive damage to my roof .

"RJW Electricals were everything and more . Arrived when they said, worked with my roofers, problem solved and managed to find room for an extra panel on the western side of my home which has boosted the power generated .

I have used two solar companies on three separate homes over the last 20 years .... I wish I had found RJW Electricals a long time ago . They stepped in when I was very badly let down. They were fast , on time , on budget , problem solved , left the place spotless ,professional , polite, worked as a team with other trades ... the true meaning of a thoroughly professional company . Installation of 4kw solar PV string, inverter, 5kw battery system and later a changeover switch. Providing all the necessary documents for micro-generation acceptance.

"I have deliberately kept the narrative below quite factual and straightforward, but it doesn't tell you how helpful the company have been. I have great respect for the team, who were always helpful, courteous and patient about explaining things to me, whether on site or from their office. Some issues did arise, but they were sorted out by the company promptly, with proper explanations and no cost to me.

RJW sent a staff member to survey the house, and I was able to explain potential issues. They initially thought they might have to run a cable ditch from an outhouse, but this turned out not to be needed.

At the time, there were considerable delays in deliveries of the required goods and I thought they might not turn up until June. However, they contacted me to say if it were ok, they would come to do the installation in mid-April. The goods arrived as advised and were stored in my garage.

The first electrical team advised that there were some brackets missing and further fixing work would need to be done in the attic. The team fixing the PV panels were also on time and did the work in one day. I then needed to wait a few days for the system to be commissioned and a new electrician upgraded the work which had been done, completed the fixings and retested. He also advised that a different kind of RCD fuse should be supplied and fitted, but was still able to commission the system.

The phone app and how to understand it and use it were explained, with a recommendation that I should also view the instructional videos on YouTube, which were actually quite helpful.

Sorting out the paperwork for micro-generation was virtually painless. Rob had to ask for some of my electricity bills as there are two MPANs linked to my account (hopefully, not for much longer) and one was listed to a different address. He was then able to send the relevant certificates to me.

I also asked for a changeover switch to be fitted so that I could use PV or battery power in the event of a power cut. This happened some weeks later and the change of RCD fuse was done at the same time. I had been experiencing cutouts - flipping the mains power switch off - before the fuse was changed. The problem now appears to have been resolved, the system is running very smoothly and my grid usage has dropped like a stone.

I have been pleasantly surprised at how little grid power is used even when it's raining and I'm running "hungry" devices like the washing machine.

"All aspects of how solar panels work together with batteries. Winter months when days are shorter if extra charge needed for batteries then to switch to grid through the night when costs to do so are cheaper. Team arrived when expected and worked quickly and efficiently, and as I had a new roof fitted at the same time, they worked together with my roofers. I have to state that both roofing company and solar panel company are local to me and are well respected in their fields, and have worked together previously on other projects. When I suffered a major pipe burst after extreme low temperatures in December last year the damage to an empty property I had been renovating was extreme. Ceilings, floors, pipes and kitchen units all had to be renewed.

"I was overwhelmed by the sheer scale of the project, and it was thanks to Rob and his team at RJW electrical services that I have come through the experience having been able to hand over not just the work, but also the project management of all the trades.
Because Rob has all the trades within his business he is able to co-ordinate the work efficiently.
I cannot thank him and the team enough, I have been impressed by every aspect of their work, from communication, decision making, quality and speed of work and pricing.
I would certainly use this company again an recommend them to others.
From the initial contact I found Rob at RJW electrical very easy to communicate with. Messages are responded to quickly and he was keen to help me through a particularly stressful situation with minimum need for me to worry about details and logistics.
Rob understood that I preferred to hand the whole job over to his team, and took on board the role of project manager for the whole job.
The work done by his team is of a high quality, was delivered on time and they cleared up at the end.
I would certainly recommend Rob and his team for all of the trades they provided for me, from plumbing and electrics to plastering and fitting a new kitchen.

"Following the procurement of a plug in Hybrid vehicle and the installation of a MYENERGY charging system, we decided to investigate the purchase of a solar power system to complement the above and also to heat the domestic water.

RJW Electrical Services Ltd were recommended to us and following a site visit by the company owner Rob Wade and subsequent quotation we accepted, the project was undertaken by in-house staff who were a credit to their employer and was completed professionaly and on-time.

We used rjw electrical to have home safety check they found a few problems the main one was the house was not earthed and had to contact the electric board to sort the problem . They then returned and rectified the other problems . New earth wiring to gas and water pipes new consumer unit to replace old fuses all work very satisfactory done and reasonable priced .
