Turnkey Electrical contract (Oct22-May23) of new resaurant unit within a large Shopping Mall complex. Strip out redundant wiring / assess Mains Board power re-connection / new loads for Board / new routes / increased load for a commercial Kitchen etc / site TL supply & install. First fix wiring for new lights / Em Lights / general ventilation, Kitchen - Wash-Up - Bar appliances wiring / general power / specialist power connections for alarms etc. Second Fix supply install and wire for new lights / Em Lights / general Ventilation, specialist Ventilation, Kitchen-Wash-Up-Bar appliance connections, Fire Shutter, Fire/Security/CCTV/Disabled Refuge alarms systems. Liaison/attendance with other trades & Mall management etc, normal & Out Of Hours working / full testing / snagging / certification & documentation.

"Garry and his team were helpful, professional and flexible in terms of assisting the project meet its time and delivery date targets.

They complied with site (and wider Mall management rules) re H&S, site access, parking, noise etc.

During site days, they were flexible with other trades and conflicting work program requirements eg if an area was 'busy' they would find something else to do, then complete their task(s).

Personally, Garry sets the tone for his business, he'll work with you, suggest things, provide (technical) solutions, troubleshoot where required etc; whilst keeping regular communication going. A good firm to work with!!"

Investigate faulty shower cord pull switch and advise accordingly and supply and fit parts if required.

"Throughout the engagement, Garry's professionalism was exemplary. He was on another job when I first called, so he took my message, asked me to message him and said he would reply, giving an expected time of arrival, adding he would also call me just before he was due. He did all of this as promised. He completed the work in a timely manner, whilst taking time to make sure I was comfortable with what he was doing and then once the job was done, advised me on how to use the appliance more efficiently in the future. 10/10 from me on all areas from social interaction through to the work required. His price was very fair for the job. I work for a charity supporting vulnerable adults and after my personal experience of his workmanship and personal manner on this occasion, I will definitely call upon him again and I'll have no hesitation recommending him to clients I support."

Check, supply and fit new outside light.
Remove old down lights in bathroom after wiring and supply and fit new lights. Remove old fuse box and supply and fit new unit & associated work disconnect, remove and supply and fit new under cabinet lights in kitchen and replace kitchen down lamps. Disconnect existing smoke alarm and supply and fit new ones and heat alarm.

Garry has done work for us three times. On one occasion he installed a new cable and two other visits were to trace and repair two separate faults.
 

"Gary promptly answered our phone calls and quickly came to the house to detect and plan any repair needed.

He is a friendly, helpful and considerate worker, as are the team. Everything was done with care and professionalism and all left clean and tidy.

"G. Johnstone Electrical Services does what it says / turns up (sometimes at short notice!) ready to work / carries out required repairs or diligently makes safe any electrical problem when dealing with an 'emergency' issue / carries out all pre-agreed or planned works regularly and without fuss / demonstrates both good technical knowledge and problem solving / communicates well / invoices as expected or agreed / comes already recommended from known other, local electrical contacts.

Services have been used for stand-alone, electrical only, works; and also as part of a co-ordinated trades program when completing minor construction projects.

Limitations as to scope of service to be undertaken are really only around being a 'one-man' operation at the present time. Shows initiative in researching suitable products and options for pricing jobs / has a positive attitude / presents well for working in public areas or for being in a private home environment / demonstrates a common sense and flexible approach to being on-site to do electrical works.

Can work 'out-of-hours'(if required) to aid getting things done conveniently and/or in sequence to suit the situation.

A local company to trust for small to medium sized electrical jobs and contracting, in and around Ayrshire."

Full home smoke alarm installation with electrical installation condition report. On top of this, repaired a couple of small C3 issues to ensure a satisfactory certificate.
