Fixing and replacing light fittings and switches

"We had Glen fix numerous problems with various lights and switches around the house. He also installed new lights and fittings in the kitchen and bathroom. Everything was finished to a very high standard, with very reasonable rates. We are very pleased with his work. He has a brilliant work ethic, is very knowledgeable and also a really nice guy! We won't hesitate to call him again, should we need any more electrical work done.

I needed all the electrics checking out in my flat, the installation of a new Consumer Unit and the fitting of several new light fittings. There were problems with the current wiring system which had to be traced and then rectified. This meant removing most of the wall units in the kitchen and carrying out several changes to the wiring connections in the walls behind the units.

"Glen at A+Electricals was recommended to me by several people on my local neighbourhood website. I have to say he lived up to everything people said about him. He is very professional, knowledgeable and helpful. The work he carried out was to the highest standards and his pricing was very reasonable indeed. He kept me informed throughout the work and his final billing and paperwork were excellent. I fully recommend A+Electricals for any electrical work that would be required."

He gave a competitive quote. After completing work he left the work areas tidy. He provided explanations on how the smoke alarms worked. Prior to fitting he’d provided advice on a variety of products varying in price. Excellent service provided all round. Many thanks"

We had a full house rewire, alarm system installed, hardwired ethernet ports for high speed internet throughout the house with a server installed in the garage plus anti surge protection (for surge spikes from the national grid) so all House electrical appliance are protected. Also everything is voice activated and future-proofed for mobile apps.

Electrical work including rewire, new switches and sockets, new lights, TV aerial, extractor fan and external work (garden lights/fountain/sockets etc).

"I have used the services of Glen (A+ electricals) for over 10 years, beginning with the rewire of my cottage in Bamburgh. This was a full renovation of an old property and Glen was very thorough and helpful throughout.
He has since rewired my dental practices and other properties, as well as carrying out the planned and reactive maintenance on them.
Glen is reliable, diligent and knowledgeable in both technical and practical matters. He keeps up to date on all modern techniques and regulations. His standard of work is excellent.
I would not hesitate to recommend Glen as a first class electrician.

"Glen was a great guy to deal with, first of all he responded to my request to have a small job carried out, great communication at all times, gave good professional advice. He arrived at exactly the time agreed and worked in a professional manner, swiftly and very tidy.The charge for the work done was exactly as quoted, and that was a very fair price in our view. We would have no hesitation in using him again if the need arises and based on our experience we would certainly recommend him to anyone."
