All work was undertaken by RCS Maintenance Group Ltd, a NICEIC Approved Contractor and TrustMark endorsed company, operating under standard building safety and compliance procedures. Internal non-structural works of the Bedroom Ensuite consisted of the installation of a compact WC with a Macerator, an Automatic Bidet and a Hand Basin along with Plumbing, Electrical Lighting and Ventilation within the existing designated space of a bedroom closet. Internal works to the Bedroom Ensuite included mandatory installation of ventilation within the designed space, planned to be ducted to a suitable external wall. The challenge for this particular installation was its implementation within such a small floor area of just 98cm by 76cm. New plumbing was to be installed to interface with an existing accessible shared stack via a utility access hatch in the bedroom closet. No external wall line alterations, structural modifications, or load-bearing works were required. Electrical Implementation – Minor alterations to the existing electrical circuit, were to: 1.Provide power for an extraction fan. 2.Provide lighting within the Bedroom Ensuite designated space. 3.Provide a local power supply for a Macerator Unit and Automatic Bidet attached to the WC. 4.The Macerator would discharge into the existing local soil stack, with no new drainage runs or structural alterations. New Plumbing System – A designed plan for implementation, were to: 5.Provide both hot and cold water to the Hand Basin. 6.Provide water to the WC and Automatic Bidet. 7.Ensure all waste to be safely funnelled away to the local soil stack.

RCS installed a bedroom ensuite, within a confined small space, for the installation of a compact toilet, macerator, automatic bidet, and hand basin along mandatory lighting and ventilation.

Work was successfully completed within the budgeted time line of three days. All my requests were accomplished and all of my initial concerns, regarding the challenges of the installation, were quickly and efficiently resolved by their professional in-depth knowledge and experience helping to put my mind completely at ease.

Each day MR Daniel Horne (Contracts Manager) and MR Josh Hand of RCS were punctual, polite and very well organised in their modus operandi vis-à-vis all electrical and plumbing installation; especially given the confined, small space of the ensuite.

I would be delighted to commission with RCS again and would highly recommend their work and professionalism."

Bathroom Remodelled. Replacement of all bathroom fittings, tiles. Strip back of all surfaces to brick. Bathroom converted to wet room, retiled, new toilet, washbasin and unit, shower cubicle. All new electrics plumbing radiator, ceiling and lights. Approx time from start to finish 2 weeks.

"Having seen examples of their work, we were confident they could complete the makeover of our dated, old and tired-looking bathroom.

We were well consulted and provided with guidance on types and styles of fittings and finishes with digital samples of the finished look.

We were kept well informed of any issues that come with older properties, and given options for solutions.

RCS carried out a full kitchen renovation for us, including removing the old kitchen, repairing and preparing the floor for underfloor heating, and making structural changes by removing a brick wall and rebuilding a new timber frame wall slightly further back. They installed a two-zone underfloor heating system, fully rewired the kitchen, upgraded the consumer unit, earth, tails and bonding, and brought everything up to current regulations with certification provided. They also carried out all new plumbing works and adjusted existing pipework. Additional work included new insulation in the roof space, replastering the ceiling and walls, installing an interlinked fire alarm system, and completing the full kitchen installation. All labour, materials, trades and waste removal were organised and managed by RCS.

"What we thought would be a straightforward kitchen renovation quickly turned into a much bigger project once work began. It became clear that our previous extension had been very poorly done, and significant additional work was needed to make everything safe and structurally sound before the new kitchen could go in.

From the very beginning, RCS were honest, calm and professional. They clearly explained the issues they uncovered and talked us through the options without pressure. Communication was excellent throughout and we always knew what was happening, why it was happening, and what the next steps would be. They coordinated all trades seamlessly, which removed a huge amount of stress from what no doubt would have been an overwhelming situation.

The standard of workmanship has been outstanding. From the structural alterations and underfloor heating installation to the electrics, plumbing, plastering and final kitchen fit, everything has been completed with real attention to detail. The finish is excellent, and it’s obvious RCS takes real pride in doing the job properly rather than cutting corners. Most importantly, we now have peace of mind knowing the work has been done correctly.

We genuinely couldn’t be happier with the end result and would not hesitate to recommend RCS to others."

"Dan and the team at RCS are professional, friendly and their work is always to a high-quality finish. Their work is top-class and whilst they are not the cheapest I consider them amongst the best for their attention to detail and their commitment to quality works. They were able to complete some work themselves and project manage the works that were done by other contractors. Any additional works were discussed before these commenced with detailed observations regarding the necessity or advantage of these additional works. RCS undertook a major project to replace our commercial kitchen pot wash area, and the results have been exceptional. With over 40,000 covers per year, our back-of-house facilities experience significant wear and tear, so this upgrade was essential. RCS not only installed a new, high-performance machine but also completed extensive new pipework to future-proof the area and ensure long-term reliability.

"The project was completed ahead of schedule, and the team provided excellent post-installation support, including thorough training and clear guidance on maintenance and upkeep.

In addition, our commercial fat trap system was redesigned and upgraded to ensure we meet current environmental and sustainability standards. RCS supplied new units while thoughtfully integrating our existing tables, creating a seamless, efficient workspace tailored to our operation.

Professional, efficient, and highly knowledgeable throughout — I would not hesitate to recommend RCS for any commercial kitchen upgrade or infrastructure project.

The team were extremely helpful in guiding us through the process of selecting the most suitable machine for our operation. While on site, they consistently followed protocol and ensured our building regulations were respected at all times.

Complete overhaul of electrics. New board, new cabling, new sockets and extra ones installed. Outside lighting at the front and the back of the house Electrics installed in outhouse with board and lighting. Fire alarms fitted New lighting in every room with extra feature lighting installed in two rooms. Installed power and lighting to loft space.

"RCS Maintenance were really friendly and worked long, hard days to get the project completed within time.

They offered suggestions on what could be done, like installing feature lighting in the bathroom, study and chimney stack to the rooms a wow factor. They also suggested outside lighting, which we never thought about, but are really glad to have gone along with the suggestion.

For a period of the work, we stayed at the in-laws so they gave regular updates, phone calls and sent pictures and videos on the progress being made which helped us to make decisions that came up and to see the progress being made.

I'm very happy with the electrical work that RCS did for me and I would recommend them to friends and family."

Electrical installation Work Upgrading electrical supply to pottery studio workshop. Install extra consumer unit to outdoor workshops. Inspect and upgrade exisiting supply were required.

"With installation of new Electric kiln we had need to upgrade our electrical supply to our studio workshop.

RCS provided us with a detailed survey of what was needed to upgrade electrical services and how that could be done .

Works included the installing of upgraded cableing from existing consumer unit to workshop and installing workshop consumer unit.
Existing cableing was inspected and upgraded to meet current requirements.

All works were carried out in a timely and diligent manner and at a reasonable cost.

I would have no hesitation in using RCS again.
