Installation of Solar panels, Inverter and Battery

"I chose Butterfly to install my solar panels as they were competitive on price and the overall approach towards meeting my requirements was good. As the siting of the scaffolding would cause issues with access to both my and my neighbours garages I requested that the duration of the work was kept to a minimum, which was agreed although subject to the scaffolding company being able to meet the timescales. During a conversation with the scaffolding company they suggested extending the timescale by one day to allow for any overrun of work by the solar installation, which I agreed to as it still meant the scaffolding would still be removed before the weekend which was critical due to parking restrictions on the estate that I live on. The scaffolders arrived on Monday as planned and erected the scaffolding. Butterfly Energy arrived on Tuesday again as planned with 2 staff, one to install the panels and the other to install and commission the Inverter and Battery. Unfortunately the panels had been supplied with incorrect mounting brackets which meant the work on installing the panels couldn't go ahead although work to prepare for the siting of the panels could be carried out, however the electrician was able to install both the Inverter and battery in a different position to the original plan but was by far the best solution. The work was carried out very professionally and the location was left clean and tidy. The replacement brackets were ordered but couldn't be delivered until Thursday. I then had to arrange for parking permits for both Butterfly and the scaffolding company to be extended until to allow for the installation and commissioning of the solar panels to be completed (Thursday) and the work to remove the scaffolding on the following day (Friday) allowing both myself and my neighbour access to our garages. Unfortunately due to medical reasons the Butterfly engineer was unable to attend site on Thursday so no work was carried out. The plan was changed to, Butterfly proving sufficient engineers to attend on Friday morning complete the work by midday and the Scaffolders removing the scaffolding at lunchtime. Unfortunately I received a text message to say that the scaffolders were not going to attend (I received 2 different reasons why however the end result was the same, both me and my neighbour were unable to access our garages over the weekend ...I was not happy and it did create a number of issues) The work to install the panels and commission the complete system was completed by Butterfly during the course of Friday, very much to my satisfaction, the quality of work was very good. The scaffolding was taken down the following Tuesday. Overall if everything had gone to plan the work would have been completed in the timescales agreed but as they say, plan for the worst but hope for the best. Overall I would recommend Butterfly Energy to provide a Solar panel installation and support service."

"Butterfly were a great company to work with. From initial meeting, to survey and then install, everything went as planned and we were kept up to date throughout the whole process. Everything was explained in full detail and all questions answered with great knowledge. Matt, kayleigh and Jordan were great throughout the whole process, thank you to a great team.
The install was amazing, quick, effective and very neat and tidy. There is not a single cable seen, everything was installed to a very high standard. Once the system was complete they explained every step and everything on our app so we completely understood. Highly recommend butterfly for your solar install."

Just finished installing my solar panels and I’m very pleased with it, very fast and professional job

"This job is most fastest and professional job I ever see, A week before the scaffolding was up in no time , then Jordan from office follow to double check if Natasha has send everything on side,the day of installation was Jordan birthday and still unsuered my calls that day.
every one arrive in the morning , quick briefing from Mark side manager witch been there every step of the way, every one started in they own sections, roofers when up there firs marked up every single centimetres drilled and siled with waterproof equipment 2 times , everything checked by Mark and me, then they installed the panels in no time , brilliant roofers I have to say that.Electrition Rob re wired and tide up my existing instructions first, then started the new ones , tide and need , brilliant job , everything Mark check it and explain all this to me how to operate the system
I will recommend this people to everyone I know

I finally agreed to go with Butterfly Energy plc. Their products are top notch and installations and prices are very competitive. I got 12 panels installed with an 11.6 Kwh battery. The butterfly team are excellent and very helpful.
I have an EV car and charge my car from the battery or solar panels.
Since my Solar installation, my electricity meter indicates the minimum number of units used and will sell unused electricity to the grid. I am running Dayson fans day and night from panels and batteries this summer.
All electricity is drawn from solar panels or the battery. I am very happy that I have installed the Solar system and recommend that get a Solar system installed from the Butterfly team.

Superb Job, Matt and his team were prompt and very efficient and They also have a special deal with Energy provider Octopus Energy.

Solar Panel and Storage Battery Consultancy and Installation

"Butterfly Energy PLC were thoroughly professional from start to finish. From the first meeting, they explained how the process would work, the savings that would likely be made, and the order of events from initial consultation to final installation. I found it a very pleasant experience dealing with Butterfly. They were very swift at dealing with all aspects of the work, all of the staff were professional and friendly to deal with. They provided me with all the information that I required and all questions were answered and explained to me. The whole installation went very smoothly and I would have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone else looking for a solar installation. Their communication was excellent throughout and I enjoyed working with them. The whole engagement was a very enjoyable experience and I am delighted with the results."
