Fraser came out to value our property and we could immediately see he was very knowledgeable about the market and the area. The fee he quoted was very reasonable and exceptional value for money given the high quality of service and literature they produced. The office staff, Maureen and Shirley, were a pleasure to deal with; always phoning regularly to update us on viewings and feedback and giving excellent advice when required. Maureen’s professionalism really shone through when negotiating an offer we were very happy with. "My husband and I cant really recommend this firm highly enough. I first contacted the Ayr branch as I was interested in viewing a property for sale and although I had telephoned the wrong office, the girl I dealt with was courteous polite, provided me with information for the property and provided me with details of the branch dealing with the property.

We viewed two properties that Donald Ross were selling and on both occasions,I found the staff to be helpful, courteous, friendly, informative and accommodating, no matter when I phoned and who I spoke with. Any queries I had were dealt with professionally and timeously.

As a result of the above we chose Donald Ross to market our property as in comparison with the other Estate Agents we had dealings with at this time, they were of the highest quality by far, in terms of customer relations, approachability and professionalism. They did what they said they would do. Phoned back when they said they would, and were courteous in their follow up contact to any visits, for feedback etc. We really wanted anyone thinking of buying our house to be dealt with the way we had experienced in our dealings with Donald Ross.

When we chose to put our property on the market Michael Palmer came to our home for an initial visit and I found him to be friendly, straightforward, helpful and informative. He outlined fully the services we could expect with Donald Ross and discussed the price options openly and without pressure.

We did not confirm our business with Donald Ross for two weeks as we were going on Holiday. We were also anxious as we had not secured another property and we were unsure of whether to proceed or not. We were never put under any pressure to come to a decision, in fact the opposite was the case. I was reassured on a number of occasions by Michael that this was our decision and timescales would be at our say so. We felt comfortable and in control throughout the whole process.

My property was marketed and was sold (STCM)within 10 days and I could not fault the service I have received from Michael and secondly from Susan who looked after us during the period from marketing to sale. The whole experience in all honesty has been seamless.

I'm sure I must sound as If I am a relative of someone in the firm or being paid for my review however all of the above is accurate and my first experience of dealing with Donald Ross was as stated in the opening paragraph.

"We were already on the market with another Estate agents and since we purchased our new home through Donald Ross and had a time stipulation to sell our own property,we thought it was in our best interest to move to Donald Ross. We were very impressed with the knowledge of the estate agent that met with us regarding the valuation of our home and also thought the photos and brochure were of top quality. "From start to finish I received fantastic service from all the staff involved in the sale of my flat. This included James who I initially saw on the Wednesday and discussed putting my property on the market, then to Maureen and Shirley who I met and spoke with on the Thursday when my property went on the market and again on the Friday when they had arranged a first viewing. My property then sold on the Monday with offers over! All done and dusted in a matter of days!

What can I say about my whole Donald Ross experience? fantastic service, great customer care and superb, friendly staff.

"I found Donald Ross to be very professional and helpful. I was kept updated regularly even when there wasn't any progress which I found reassuring and that I was not forgotten about as soon as I agreed to market my property like I have experienced elsewhere previously. On phoning the office I was always able to speak to someone and was never fobbed off and on the odd occasion where the person was out the office I was phoned back promptly on their return. The staff were really lovely too. This company did the job they were to do efficiently and I did not have to constantly be phoning them for updates like I have had to with other companies. Maureen (ayr branch) was really professional at all times and it helped that it was the same person dealing with it all the way through."

Country bungalow with 5 acres.

"Our experience of selling our property with Donald Ross was excellent from start to finish.

In order to have the For Sale sign in our garden for possible buyers driving past on the weekend, Fraser came on the Thursday evening and hammered in the sign himself, rather than waiting for the maintenance guys to do it on the Monday.

We immediately had 2 viewing over the weekend which Fraser attended to on our behalf, and we then had a formal offer on the Monday morning via Susan at the Kilmarnock branch.

So, Donald Ross put our property up for sale on the Friday and it was sold on the Monday, you can't do any better than that!
